They’re not real, then they don’t claim to be real gold. I didn’t see anywhere that they claim to be real gold. It says you can’t get them what it says you cannot sweat You have to be so P with his jewelry that it’s ridiculous it’s costume jewelry. I don’t know why anyone would ever think that is real. I mean it’s cute but it’s no different than buying from Walmart. Maybe it has some gold plating. I don’t know. I just think it’s overpriced and it’s not worth all some of the things are really reasonable, but some of them are not

All gold over jewelry or even silver over (Brighton) WILL eventually tarnish. I even got a faux Tiffany heart necklace that lasted me a few years. I loved it but I’m hopeful when I lose all my weight I’ll get the real deal! I have a real gold necklace I love and my favorite part is knowing it will never tarnish. But girl- it was PRICEY!!!!

I have the "gold" abbey filigree pendant necklace..and the "gold" wore off super fast..down to brass showing..but being my favorite "costume"(cuz it's plated) jewelry.. I refuse to let it go that quickly....so ive been slowly for the past few months trying to work the rest of the gold plating off with jewelry cleaner, letting it soak for a few hours, and then using polishing cloths....so far so good..because girl, brass jewelry (100%, not plated) will be beautiful..almost as beautiful as the real thing, as long as you keep it polished and wear it regularly (think of a brass handrail or something similar....how shiny it is on the places that get touched regularly) the oils of your skin will make the pieces you have shiny again....if you do decide to try this, be advised, it WILL go through an "ugly" phase before it gets pretty again...but with diligence and a little "elbow grease" it will make your kendra scott pieces look a whole lot better. I know from experience!

I started buying KS jewelry since 2010 with my first Rayne necklace and I don’t know about anyone else, but I kept mine in individual little zip baggie and not one have tarnished. I don’t wear the earrings while putting on make either…same rules goes for the lotions with rings and bracelets. I guess it depends on how to treat them.

at this price point you will ever get real silver plated with gold. These prob cost the company about 5 dollars or something around that. I am starting my brand now and I decided not to do this low quality jewelry cause people will hate the tarnishing. The least that is necessary is vermeil. But even that I see companies cheating with. I only hear shit about Mejuri and how it tarnishes even just stored for a month. That is definitely not vermeil.
