Nice job. I know this is 3 years ago and you are probably more experienced at this point but still good. The band on this thing is pretty much trash. Beautiful to look at as you said. I have silver with a white face and replaced the garbage butterfly for a black leather strap. Not on you, everybody and absolutely every vendor calls that a moon phase complication. Drives me nuts. It's a "sun up, sun down" complication. It tells you nothing about the moon except it has a picture of the moon on it. Good job with the review though, think I'll take a look at something newer and see how you've improved.

Yes, the watch is quite good. I can't afford this model right now. I took a citizen for $280, it's too expensive and luxury for me, and I was very upset. They were thin and a little shallow. I chose citizen in black, I liked them more than Tissot 516 quartz ones. I sent them back and decided to change them to SEIKO SEIKO SNKP17K. I would change the watch for a watch like yours, but alas, they are not in that store. But I hope that I will not be deceived and will be changed to seiko SEIKO SNKP17K. This will be my second or third mechanic. In general, I like quartz watches more often. I love both electronic timex and casio wear. Yesterday I took my casio 500 electronic watch. There is a backlight. I really like watches for an active lifestyle. With backlight. It's a good accessory. I watched the movie the fight with Robert De Niro. Where Robert De Niro wore a timex electronic watch. I think these watches complemented his image of a bandit well.

2:15 - So, I think I know what's going on with that right sub-dial. If you read the literature on the watch, that was originally intended to be a *_month_* dial. It looks like it skips three days because I think it's only supposed to have 12 positions; January through December. Instead of printing 1 through 12 on the sub-dial, some genius designed it with 31 indices, then some other genius signed off on it, and *_whoops_* now it's in production, set in stone. Big case of the left hand not knowing what the right hand is doing. Call it a language barrier, but somehow the person who designed the dial didn't know how the movement worked. Kinda funny TBH.

I have the same watch with the black face. It keeps good time and has a decent power reserve. Not a great reserve but decent. For under $50 you can’t go wrong. It actually looks and feels real good. I’m not sure if it’s waterproof but I’m tempted to find out lol.

This watch catches my eye

The legendary 7s26 is simply beyond expectations

I've seen these watches on temu. If they came with a smaller dial size it wouldn't be half bad for the price.

Great review... below is my experience over several years. I have a Paulareis which is virtually identical to this, minus the 2 sub dials and, mine has a red/black strap. The bezel annoyed me so much that I locked it in the 12 o' clock position with a tiny spot of superglue. It keeps excellent time but occasionally just stops for no apparent reason. It's worst fault is that the auto rotor is too stiff and hardly moves in normal use - which means the thing MUST be hand wound. This is OK, except that it's quite stiff to hand wind! The black fabric on the outside of the rubber strap started to fray after a few months, so I stripped it all off, so now it has a plain, red rubber strap. I don't regret buying it and it still gets worn mainly for mad nights out! Again, great review - keep 'em coming!
