The downside of webcam magic, maybe I'll look into more in person EDH content now that I've gotten into the swing of weekly in person modern content :)

Yeah I really like this game since it feel like a great learning experience for people to see so many different lines available within this game. I've been having fun getting back into modern after spending the last couple years only focusing on EDH :)

@NanMansNerdCorner This was years ago. He gave it to be for a specific deck I built... Its red and white metalcraft equipment deck. First and double strike creatures with cheap to cast equipments with Galvanic Blast Pure steel Paladen pulled it all together with Drawing cards for every equipment I cast and making Equipping free. We used to call him Magneto😂 Still my favorite deck to this day. Although I really only get to play Arena now

I don't know if this is universal for 60 card formats but it definitely is at my shop that all the players flick/shuffle their hands almost like a nervous habit thing. Making the conscious effort to not do that seems like a great way to slow down and concentrate on the board state and what's happening and not feel like you need to rush through things.

Just a regular weekly so very loosey goosey not a regional or qualifier. Part of the reason to record up gameplay is so players can learn from mistakes and learn alternative lines they could make. I would call them both decent players though

@@user-fu5zu8bh1n It should be 100% it has a much more explosive turns and can win as quick as turn 3. Sideboarding is def a skill that needs to be practiced for sure

I think you are correct, could be the stress of game 3 and wanting to make sure they are playing more reactionary instead of just closing the game out. That's part of the fun of doing recordings players can watch back and see lines they might have missed or see additional lines they might not have considered as much in the moment.

I think the stress of wanting to close out the game while also playing against a newer deck was too much. I will say your read is correct that seeing players running green you should anticipate some number of Pick your poisons. Sometimes you make more mistakes playing against a new deck until you can learn the lines

Mill is one of my favorite decks so I always try to get it on camera when it shows up at the shop. I know we still have a few in que to be released :)

Cube is the best~! Ravnica cube can be a challenge just make sure you include a lot of mana fixing. I'm actually considering switching my Ravnica Cube into a Commander Ravnica cube but havne't started testing that yet

@@NanMansNerdCorner as I started I came to the same conclusion I want to do a commander cube based off the Guild masters with each guild playing to their individual strengths but I am struggling mainly in the Mono Color creature sections😂 to find ones that synchronize well with multiple play styles

We are gong to start testing out a new set up for the camera starting next week, if things work out for it you should see an improvement to the footage by June

Yeah it's going to be interesting for sure to see how many decks disappear after the release of MH3. We look at decks like humans which vanished after MH1

It's my favorite deck because you can switch between comboing to win or tool box reacting to what your opponents are doing. I've been slowly spicing it up with different arts and signatures

There's a few more east coast events coming up SCG Baltimore in July and SCG Washington DC in Oct there's also Commander Sealed up in New York in September. Hopefully you can check out one of those
