Thank you Scott for your thoughtful and beautiful arrangement of Jaco's masterpiece. I'm sure Jaco would approve some new little extra pieces and your approach and would be proud. And of course I thank all the musicians who performed beautifully. One of my beloved compositions ever. Feel happy everytime even when I took bass and simply play over the record sound some root notes.

I met RB at guitar center 14st Guitar Center. He had just bought a PC and was in his way out the door. He was kind enough to stop for a quick photo. The sales guys were like "who's that?" Legend! God bless him and his wonderful talent.

Bona's solo is not too much, it basically has nothing to do with the piece
@martybergel82583 жыл бұрын
Yeah, Bona's got talent up the wazoo but it sounds like he is just cramming as much as he can in there.
@Yetipfote4 жыл бұрын
3:20 why ALWAYS this lick. ALWAYS!!! Totally out of context. Doesn't fit one bit. Every solo. Richard is an awesome bassist tho but his solos are tasteless to me. No comparison to the GOAT Jaco.

great cover! but some comments said Bona's solo is just too much. thought it is started at 3:45. it s pretty decent and beautiful before that marked time

I agree. There is a guy from Senegal you should check out. His name is Habib Faye. He died tragically about three years ago, but his work is phenomenal
