Have they improved the KUS-25D? I was considering picking one up. Another youtube reviewer was not a fan, but you seem to like it quite a bit. The one I tested out today didn't actually seem half-bad, but I'm not an ukulele expert by any means.

Hi … thanks for this video. Do you still have this baritone and, if so, how has it held up over time?

I've used two transducers from china for 5.00 each....one's a three stick um and one is a two stick um. They sound the same. Those transducers are all made the same way. simplicity! I have a fishman also.....that amp has an amazing preamp built into it....I've used seperate preamps and they never sound as good as a straight plug into the amp from the transducer.

It's not on Amazon anymore, that I can find, but on Enya's website, it's $60 right now on sale! And then I got a $6 discount on top of that automatically added, and free shipping. 😮 I go to medieval reenactment events, and in the summer they are camping events. I wanted to get a pineapple-shaped ukulele so it would look more "passable" for me to play at events (because it won't look as jarringly modern, but of course it's a modern instrument, lol). Anyway, I love the price but also that I won't have to worry about the elements ruining it. Thanks for your review! I especially appreciate that you've been playing it for a year and a half. I'm sold.

Have you done anything to it, as far as trusrod adjustments or filing the saddle down? Done any work on the nut? How was it straight out of the box? Is the action high on it?

Just ordered a Soundsmith uke, can't wait. I originally wanted a Martin T1K but Soundsmiths seems like a better value.

I think I prefer the nylon string sound. Maybe because I started on a nylon string classical guitar.

Ive bought my first Martin 20 years ago not even knowing it had hpl back and sides. I didnt know much about wood and just bought the one that sounded the best in the store. I've had a vintage d28, a very nice small body Lowden and some other expensive Martins and the old dx1 is still the one i play the most by far. Plays so easy and sounds just great. But i do like smaller guitars so i might pick one of these up aswell. Thanks for the little demo!

While I'm sure your review was well intended. This company has major flaws.I placed an order just short of two months ago. I’ve sent numerous emails to support with no response. You endorsed it, you should leverage the same influence to un-endorse it and keep good folks from losing precious time and money.

hey there, I'm looking into what I need to convert to nylon strings. You mentioned that you have a Grover bridge. Is that the Minstrel banjo bridge? I'm looking for the cheapest tailpiece and bridge I can find, and so I don't have to file any slots. It's a little harder to find than I thought.
@HaydenMZ79 Жыл бұрын
I think I just changed out the bridge to a nicer one of a similar style. The nylon strings I had put on it were Aquila minstrel banjo strings. I didn’t modify any part of the banjo.

I've had a terrible time with the Tenor, And not a great experience with the concert... They sent the old concert and told me I could just use a marker to make it black... And with the tenor I've gone through three of them and all have had major defects... The last one the bridge was unsanded and not even finished... First one had a smudged headstock and the second had like a grease stain on the side...
