For all you praising his playing, how did he magically play the octave at 1:24 without playing the note? (just like every other KZbinr that claims to teach you the song, they always, always miss that part.) He's just playing along. And the 'Can't you see me standing here, I got mt back against'. . . .part is played higher that what he's playing.

I recorded it for fun. The name of my video is MAIN KEYBOARD, which is what I'm playing in this video. There's a secondary keyboard that OVERLAYS the main keyboard that I recorded separately and is triggered along with the other instruments and the voice in Ableton. And I'm playing the main one, note by note in one take, with only time/note hits and misses. Just "hear" my hand on the notes. I'm a pianist and keyboardist, but I'm not a professional anymore. I'm not a KZbinr with the intention of "teaching" anything related to this video. To play what's in this video, set aside 2 hours a day to study your instrument.

@@StopigliaRicardo I only meant to point out a couple things I heard. Sounds good. I play that one a lot and I like to play it as close as the recording as I can. It's all in good fun! Nice job.

I'll put it in English to make it easier. I recently bought an Oberheim Matrix 6 and could feel on my skin what a true and pure Saw wave is. But it had a serious electronic problem and I had to return it. Looking and comparing with the simple ones I made from the Matrix, the OP-X for me is the closest thing to a real Oberheim!!!

Thanks for your comment Zarko. I played monitoring only through my Sennheiser, without clicking. Yes, it was very difficult to assemble this OBX tone. Mainly the left-to-right reflection reverb.

Wonder why no one seems concerned that this synth line is remarkably close to Prince's 'Dirty Mind' synth line...
@StopigliaRicardo Жыл бұрын
Between 80 and 85 we move from a monophonic synth to a polyphonic subtractive, as is the case with the Oberhein OBX used to record Jump. That percussive synth line became a fountain that many drank from. Listen to Rush Afterimage, recorded 1 year later... if it doesn't have a similar atmosphere?

@StopigliaRicardo Жыл бұрын
Thank you for your comment! Search for Multitrack... there are many songs for non-commercial use... they are tracks used in band simulators, which are available on the web, ok?
