Thank you so much for posting this. My husband has been searching for this liver that his Mom made when he was a boy. He always thought it already came wrapped in the caul fat. I will be making it this weekend and making a 63 yr old boy very happy.

Bechamel Sauce. How do you make white sauce for lasagna - Bechamel? It is a creamy white sauce that is commonly used in lasagna and other dishes. It adds a rich and smooth texture to the dish. To make bechamel sauce, you will need 1 liter of milk, 100 gr of butter, 100 gr of flour, nutmeg, and salt. 1. Start by heating up the milk in a saucepan until it becomes warm. 2. In a separate saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. 3. Turn off the fire and then add the flour and a pinch of salt to the melted butter. 4. Mix the butter, flour, and salt together until they are well combined and form a smooth paste. 5. Slowly add the warm milk to the mixture, stirring constantly to avoid any lumps from forming. 6. Once all the milk has been added, turn on the fire to medium heat and continue stirring the mixture until it comes to a boil. 7. Add a pinch of nutmeg to enhance the flavor of the sauce. 8. Continue stirring the sauce while it boils for a few minutes until it thickens to a creamy consistency. 9. Once the bechamel sauce has reached the desired thickness, remove it from the heat. 10. To prevent a skin from forming on top of the sauce, transfer it into another bowl. 11. Cover the bowl with cling film, making sure it touches the surface of the sauce to prevent any air from getting in. 12. Allow the bechamel sauce to cool completely before using it in your lasagna or storing it in the refrigerator. Now, your bechamel sauce is ready to be used in your lasagna or any other dish that calls for a creamy white sauce. Enjoy!

It's healtier cooked, because of trans fats etc. Frying on butter is especially not good, except ghee (cleared) butter. Fried meat generally have stronger taste but for health you can also consider eating cooked meat. And if you get used to it, it is also very tasty, but taste is more subtle, so if you are used to shitty food, it can seam blend.

We used to have the meat department in our local grocery t tenderize it then we would cut it in strips, roll it in egg and flour and pan fry it. Delicious!

i tried, it works. but it is better to use a square bowl rather than a round bowl, not to stack the chestnut, otherwise the bottom nuts are hard to peel off.
