Just found out about this but for clarification, stated to bring ships back to life, does that mean all ships or are we just talking civilian ships? I ask because this is kind of like one of the ideas I had but for warships but I have way too many hobbies to even put any effort into that idea but the plan was to create an experience like this but for warships as well as putting them in actual combat situations that they were in so you can actually experience said events that hadn't been experienced in half a century or longer.

Just found out about it last night from a post on social media about it. I see its not on steam which is probably why I never stumbled upon it till now. Only question I have is will this give us the disaster experiences as well where appliable or will it just be simple at sea experiences? I looked on the website but no mention of that in the FAQ. Im fixing to watch all videos in order from oldest to newest but figure I would post my question here first since theres a lot to catch up on.

I'm so sad I missed this, I was aboard the Royal Princess at the time and so had no data/service. If I had though, would have been listening to this on Repeat

Love the heat from the fire 🔥 and the steady throb of the engines , as I sip my christmas brandy and listen to Carol's , aboard the Empress Of Ireland.

For years I've honestly wanted to write a play set on the "Carpathia". It'd be a coming-of-age story about two brothers aboard the ship who interact with "Titanic" survivors.

I've only just found this but I'm glad I did! What a wonderfully relaxing way to waste an hour (or several with it on repeat!!!). I was reading Walter Lord's 'The Night Lives On' with this playing in the background, but I kept nodding off and had to re-read quite a few pages! Love the sound effects and the way the ship and the day come to life with subtle changes as the sun comes up. Well done and many, many thanks for this. More please! 🙂

If Carpathia Is the rescue ship I’m betting the other ship is Olympic as it accidentally rammed the Nantucket lightship or Queen Mary for the Curacoa Crash

Frankly for all the endless movies and media surrounding Titanic. I really wish there was a movie about Carpathia's rescue that nearly itself resulted in disaster and dealing with the fallout of the sinking afterwards

At best she probably would have arrived at the scene a few hours before Carpathia, but not early enough to change the death toll.

@ the californian was 19km away enough to reach in 1hr. However 1hr after Carpathia was contacted would have been 1:37 am before the ship sunk.

@ Californian’s lookouts didn’t see the rockets and attempt to wake the captain until well after 1am. In addition, as not all of her boilers were lit and Californian was in the middle of dense ice, she wouldn’t have been able to make anywhere near full speed and would have to go slow and stop periodically, similar to the position Mount Temple found herself in.

@ If it’s an alternative universe then, then why not have the starship Enterprise drop into orbit and rescue the survivors?

_RMS Carpathia_ herself was nothing special, far from a top-of-the-line ship, however she pulled through. Good thing for the survivors that Captain Rostram decided to run her for all she was worth, or more would have surely died of exposure to the cold. And then _Carpathia_ 's crew rolled out a warm welcome for the survivors and triaged their conditions so they could survive, with warm soup and blankets. If not for their efforts, on top of the efforts of the crew of _Titanic_ to evacuate their ship, the tragedy would have been far greater. After her run, _Carpathia_ 's engines were permenently damaged. She never made such speed again, and was eventually lost in the First World War. But she went down having been a hero.

Could you recreate SS Kaiser Wilhelm der Grosse? Or maybe TS Bremen (1929). The 2 most elegant german liner classes of all time. German liners are really underrepresented in the genre. It's a shame that only the bulky gigantomaniac "Imperator" sees some representation.
