A more interesting ending would have been her winding up 71 more years in the future.

So are there towns in the US that are really look like this? Where everyone celebrates Xmas, everyone is middle class, white, lives in great big houses with their extended family? Other than the cops and the shop owners what do people do for a living? Are there any immigrants there? And of all the people why does Toby not live with his family? He seems to have had a hard life- because he was an orphan? I grew up on b&w movies like this from the 1930s and 40s. But why are they making these in the 21st century?

One of the first things I would have done to verify her claim is to speak to local oldtimers who may have known her or her family.

Pro tip: always carry some change in your pocket. You can show the coins which would be virtually impossible to counterfeit if you are involved in time travel.

the medicines may have not been as good as they are today but this is a time i remeber when doctors and nurses truly cared and you stayed in hospital to make sure you went home well unlike today where they kick you out as quickly as possible

So glad I didn't have to watch this movie. I'm going brain-dead just from the recap. How can such a cool premise turn out so boring and nonsensical?

If they needed period correct Christmas lights for the gazebo I could have hooked them up. Those aren't incandescent C9's, much less with cloth jacketing and Bakelite sockets.

Turned out she did not have a crush on an ordinary guy so therefore, title does not match the theme. That guy turned out to be one of the undercover agent. Title should of said Daughter Of A Powerful President Gets A Crush On The Undercover Agent Disguised As Ordinary Guy In School

Why are so many video's of story telling coming out, I would much prefer to see the actual movie, I dont need someone reading it like a book, what are we? children, we can read, we can deduce, we can decidw for ourselves so stop spoiling the movie by telling us about it!!!!!

More holes than Swiss cheese. The day they found her; the cops should've run her name through their computers. It would verify that there was a woman of that name who went missing in 1945. They could also check records to see that she was once listed as the owner of that house. Ditto they could check to see that there was a hospital where the library is. Instead, the air-head cop takes her back to meet his parents.

I agree. I could walk round the town where I lived 70 years ago, giving many details of what it was like back then that could be confirmed. Details that wouldn't be generally known.

My grandma is 100 years old (we're from the UK) and was a nurse during WWII. I taught her how to use her iPad and that blew her mind, and she can't stop looking things up. She also learned from me that you don't have to keep it plugged in all the time like electrical appliances lol
