Its not Good vs Evil. Its the spirit of humanity and the humility of the love ones family, struggling under the Tyranny of fear and the looming shadow of an unknown but Understood threat.

Perhaps he was drugged or unconscious when they brought him in? Perhaps there was more elaborate constructs in the warehouse which they dismantled already for speed of exfiltration afterwards? Not sure, but hardly a massive gaff which needs calling out.

No issue with La La Land! Just thought Moonlight was better even after a few rewatches of both. Rewatched Crash last year though and nah. It's not one of the worst movies ever like it gets the rep of being, but it's not in the same convo as Brokeback, which is legitimately really good. Just opinions though!

I don't think Jeff will die since he is just Miles's dad. The Spit maybe after him but the main mission right now is saving Miles Morales. So Gwen Stacy and the band are going to save Miles but I think Peter B might die then have his daughter as the new Gwen but just traumatized. Miles is the main mission and I think him and the band will save his dad but the Spot will still be out

I personally think that Jeff won't die due to the entire movie being about miles trying to save his dad. But since a father figure has to die, I think Peter b might die

The Irishman. Where an 2 Italians play Irish people and an English person plays an Italian. You can’t have Bob play a fricken Irish person in this movie especially when a key issue was that his character could never “be made” because he is fucking IRISH. Then you have Graham play Tony Pro?! WTF. Graham should have played Jimmy Hoffa or at least Bob De Niro’s character. De Niro should have been Tony Pro. I get it, it’s a movie. You have 75 year old guys playing “tough guys”. Last point. No chance the Mob killed Kennedy. As Bob’s character claims

In our full episode we talk about a hypothesis we read that in the same way King wrote the book about his alcoholism and writer's block--consciously or not--Kubrick transformed the movie into being about his obsession with perfectionism and its impossibility. And that's why so much of it feels different. I (Tom) found that to be really interesting framing I'll have to look at on my next rewatch.
