I love this man to the bits. I also had a chance to interview him last year at my former job. He is really a great example for both Israelis and Palestinians.

Regrettably, since I filmed these interviews he has proven to be little more than an apologist for Israel war crimes.

Most of my Opeth vinyls had issues, some pops, some skips and one simply distorts. I sent back copies, got new ones but the issues were always there. Nowadays I only buy CD. Not only are they less expensive but they are more convenient and all those 'vinyl' issues are inexistent.
@MetalBlastАй бұрын
From a quality (and quality of life) perspective, vinyl are not great. Even if you believe that analog sounds better, the investment required for a good turntable and good speakers (to actually perceive this difference) is pretty significant. I wouldn't really recommend them to anyone just for the sound. HAVING SAID THAT, vinyl can be pretty nice in its own right, even if you are not an audiophile. I own a bunch of records, and there's something really "zen" about setting everything up to play, and having to do it in a way that is much slower and conscientious than just pressing "next" on Spotify, or on a CD. Plus the artwork looks great, and it's a nice place to get autographs 🤣 To

Considering they've had two (not counting Mikael) that's a very strange thing to say. He's probably one of the best guitarists currently around. That's how good he is.

@Cheximus Suit yourself to find it strange, dude. He is the best of the three Opeth has had on records, and the fact that they haven't been 8 or 9 is irrelevant to the validity of the judgement.

The whole idea that satanists don't worship satan isn't correct. Some do. Tst and cos own the narrative but satanism is essentially supposed to be a decentralized and rebellious religion. There isn't supposed to be one true satanism, you're missing the point. Anyone who venerates satan is a Satanist But satanism isn't necessarily a religion in the typical western sense. It has variation like hinduism. Some satanists are polytheists some are monotheists some only worship satan some only worship demons some only worship themselves it is a complex issue. People downplay the occult origins of satanism and the polytheistic origins of the demonic names. It's not scholarly and it's disingenuous to say atheistic satanists are the only ones. Not all of us are atheists, not all of us are secular, not all of us follow cos or tst orthodox teaching some of us are heterodox and rebel. Satanism was in the dictionary long before la vey and what it has become is very complicated. Lucien has good intentions and has his place in history but this organization owns the narrative as much as COS used to. Theistic satanists aren't all crazy nazis ya know.....but we also aren't all atheists and none of us deserve to own the narrative

Great interview but my favorite part was the Lycnchian coincidences with moths that devy didn’t realize and didn’t intend. Happens to lynch all the time these coincidences. It really makes you wonder the true power of the sub conscious mind. Through Devy’s endeavors as an artist I think he much like lynch has tapped into this level of creativity. The power of our sub conscious mind feels like this ocean of untapped creative knowledge…

Lucian is wearing the Uncle Fester robe. Or is it the grandma version of the robe. The huy on the left side of the screen might no be serious but Lucien is certainly serious because that's where the money is as the Satanic segment of the Mormons will readily admit with their $200, 000,000,000,000+ dollars will tell them and undoutably have. The Christians and all the others know church is money and BIG CHURCH is even more money. Why do you think so many people are going crazy hungry and homeless? Churches have found a good thing in America and there not letting it go nor are they hoing to share it. And they are taking it to the investment houses. If you don't believe me then go to the engine and type in (fifty) and see what happens. Fifty is the code word for their church investment information and they don't care who knows. And they don't care how hungry you are. Their philosophy: STARVE, we've go the money, cars, girls, boys and we do what we want with them then set them on literal fire when we've had our way. That's right they toss those boys and girls into the fire. The little girls have it worse. Their "Mommy's" first burn the legs off the little girls then burn the rest of them.
