Ben Platt

The official KZbin channel of artist Ben Platt. Fans worldwide fell head over heels for Ben originating the title role in ‘Dear Evan Hansen’ and on-screen in films such as the ‘Pitch Perfect’ franchise. By singing his own truth, he shares another side of himself as a solo artist.

Ben achieved superstar status as the lead role in ‘Dear Evan Hansen.’ The NY Times lauded him as a “breakout star,” and he went on to receive the 2017 Tony Award for “Best Actor in a Musical.” Other honors included “Best Musical Theater Album” at the 2018 GRAMMY Awards and “Outstanding Musical Performance in a Daytime Program” at the Daytime EMMY Awards.

In 2017 he joined forces with Lin-Manuel Miranda to craft “Found/Tonight” benefiting the “March for Our Lives” movement. Ben delivers confessional lyricism by way of soulful intimacy on his 2019 debut, ‘Sing To Me Instead.’

i remember sharing this song with my now ex when we first broke up, it really came out a couple months after we split, it truly resonated with the both of us, I wish her the best we haven't spoken in years, but the song still resonates, now I'm 26 life hasn't gone back to the way I felt before but I'm learning to let go and embrace it, I hope I can come back to this comment in a another 5 years and say proudly that life is good, maybe it wont be but I'm making the most of it, I hope I find love as amazing as I did nack then in the future, I know it wont be the same but I hold out hope to feel as unconditionally loved again!

This duet goes down in history as right next to the original as far as a performance. Wow. If that didn't bring the house down nothing did. Also saw the performance of "Maybe This Time." Killed it.
