@@racerx192 I’m sorry, by fork tool I meant a small two prong clip remover type of tool. A small flat head screw driver and a plastic wedge or A small pair of needle nose pliers may also work

@rawazperowan8841 the sensor will need to be recalibrated. It can also easily be installed in correctly. The connection point for the wire needs to be facing the right direction.

I like to leave it out until the bumper is on and in place, just be sure to leave the wire out of the hole. Then spray the tabs on the backside of the star emblem with soapy water, glass cleaner or wurth rubber care. Its helps it to slide into place. From the front side, connect the wire, put the star emblem in at 11 o’clock, be sure it’s sitting flat all round, then Turn it clockwise until you hear a click when the emblem is at 12 o’clock.

Amazon has extra deep 10mm sockets for these types of situations. As an alternative you could use a flex head ratchet wrench, or you could fab your own by welding together two deep 10mm sockets.

What about the wire connector? It doesn't unplug where it attaches to the visor, and I'm pulling on that wire, and no connector assembly is coming out.

I believe I was in the process of dropping down that whole headliner. If I remember correctly the sunvisor wiring is plugged into the harness that is attached to the headliner. You would need to partially drop the headliner to be able to disconnect it.

Just came across this video as my s5 b9 window regulator may have failed, i assume that the popping sound i heard was the clip, holding the window, breaking and slowly going through your videos. The Air wedge is a new tool and looks great, thank you!

Once you receive the new door handle, an assembly aid / wedge is provided in the packaging to hold the handle out. I have not been able to figure out the proper orientation of this tool to help during assembly. How is this tool supposed to be used?

The wedge only kinda helps with the disassembly. It won’t help at all when trying to reassemble due to it not being able to hold the levering mechanism in the rear part of the door handle.

Yes! The distronic radar module should be recalibrated after being removed and installed.

I’ll find out tomorrow for you. On Most models a good hard pull up from the front edge does the trick. Then you need to push the seat toward the rear of the car and lift up at the same time to get it to unhook. Typically there is a U shaped bracket that clips into the floor, located in between your knees, under the seat if you were sitting in the rear seat on either side. Hope this helps
