Solid Oxide Fuel Cells (SOFCs) are highly adaptable, operating on various hydrocarbons such as ethanol and natural gas. It makes sense to develop vehicle technologies that are compatible with multiple hydrocarbons and hydrogen. SOFCs can also use stable hydrides like ammonia and function with hydrogen. However, it is curious that Nissan seems to be the only company concentrating on SOFCs for vehicles. In contrast, Toyota is advancing fuel cells that run solely on pure hydrogen. The current lack of a "hydrogen infrastructure" renders this strategy seemingly impractical without enhanced power sources like nuclear. Public reluctance towards clean nuclear power poses a considerable obstacle to affordable power for a potential hydrogen infrastructure. Additionally, it is worth mentioning that pure hydrogen is potentially the most explosive fuel that could be used in a vehicle.

yeas currently there isn't a fuel cell model in Aspen Plus, user model is for fuel cell modelling
