That is not a runaway, a diesel engine runaway is an occurrence in diesel engines, in which the engine draws extra fuel from an unintended source and overspeeds at higher and higher RPM, producing up to ten times the engine's rated output until destroyed by mechanical failure or bearing seizure due to a lack of lubrication. That engine was not running away because it slowed down after it got close to you.

@cosmiccolossus668 It was definitely running away when a high pressure line breaks and sprays directly into the turbo because turbo was left open. Admittedly it was 100% our fault for leaving that open. He was off the clutch as soon as he got moving because it didn't should right. We chucked a shirt into the turbo and we're able to get it shut down, thought it was in time to prevent failure but it's had problems since then.

@@lefty_ss Got it it sounded like it wasnt because it didnt sound like it was over revving like crazy and it revved down like normal, but that is another way of it running away though.
