I’ve been using more and more of Hercules tools since buying their very impressive impact gun for work this year. I purchased the circular saw and sawzall to build a few new work benches and with an 8ah battery they performed very well. For the price I’m hard pressed to justify buying other brands. Though I still do love my older Dewalt and Milwaukee tools in the garage at home. 👍

I've been on that same path. I recenlty purchased the Hercules cordless miter saw - It is incredible along with the stand kzbin.infop-sII7ZmI2Y?feature=share

There should be battery adapters like this for ever device or they should all interchange.

There really is no contention here. The Hercules is a budget, bang-for-buck product while Dewalt offers a premium professional tool. A circ saw is a pretty straightforward device so there aren't subtle features to consider. Use the Dewalt as a beater take it to places where you don't trust conditions or people. Loan it to friends when they come mooching on your tools.

The stump cut would be fairer if one wasn't 3 times the voltage/power. 60v vs 20v????

I went into Home Depot one time and purchased something from a discount display. At the cash register, it came up full price. I got a manager, and the manager said since the display had not been taken down, the store would honor the reduced price. It always pays to check with the manager.

we have the same saw and the hercules blade right out of the box is junk.Put a real blade on there and you will see the difference especially when u are cutting that stump.Your comparing apples to oranges 60v vs 20v.

The new version of the Flexvolt saw does have a rafter hook and a lot more power without a doubt. Great video and thanks for the details.

I have the left and right side version of the Flexvolt saws and the power is unstoppable. I also have the 20 volt version of the DeWalt and it cuts great also but as far a production and speed Flexvolt can't be beat. I really would have liked to see a video of the 20 volt DeWalt vs the Hercules for a more fair comparison. Again you pretty much covered everything except that you wouldn't have to buy any batteries if you would have just bought the DeWalt 20 volt.

@@timyarbro4783 I would like to see that video too! I would be they would be similar in power. I've had a problem with the FlexVolt batteries dying. My fourth one is ready to bite the dust. It's the electronics and not the internal batteries themselves that seem to be failing.

Comparing a 60v saw to a 20v saws power is like Comparing a 360v 3 phase table saw to a 120v single phase table saw of course its going to have more. power other than that great review.
@viniciusluciano1424
@viniciusluciano1424 Ай бұрын
Exactly, this 60v saw is the most powerful we have on the market, and you put a 12 ah battery, and it doesn't overheat other brands like milwaukee, bosch if you do the same they overheat 😅Makita 36v I've used it a lot and also it didn't overheat but eka is weaker than dewalt, but it's cheaper 😅

Awesome review. Being female I probably have a slightly different take on the difference between the two. On the farm I do all kinds of woodwork including felling and milling trees, framing, carpentry, and more. For me the weight of the DeWalt would be a big minus even though its more powerful. The power doesn't help me if I'm worn out from the heavier weight and have to quit for the day. By far the accuracy for me is a huge plus. The markings as well. If I can't make out what I'm setting it at its useless. I'll be waiting until Black Friday deals probably but thank you for doing this.

After I twisted my paint stirer into a pretzel I husk them first less mess. I cut that off and welded a heavy wire brush to the end. Nice clean nuts. The greener the easier to crack and get a fairly clean nut.

Nice work, I have a 2020 330RL and the crappy plastic mesh has torn where the wheels roll along the floor surface. It’s a design flaw. Thank you for sharing this! I’m going to try and replicate your idea. I’d use the wheels to support the weight. What a PIA!

The ladies were probably digging trillium. What time of year was it? In some states it’s illegal. Just a wildflower but endangered. I’ve seen people digging in our national forest. It’s an arrestable offense with a steep fine in Alabama.

Pile them in driveway- drive over them. Put in 5gal buckets and use a power washer 2-3 times to rinse & clean them. I have one tree that will fill a 55 gallon drum with walnuts each year. BTW- WEAR GLOVES! Floating walnuts are duds. Dry for 2 months in a cool, well ventilated place. Soak for 3 days before cracking.

Excellent project. I'm just learning how to weld (self-taught from YT videos) and I think this is going to be my first "real" welding project after I finish with my practice pieces. I have the TYM T25 tractor which, I believe, is the same as your RK. How do you know what angle to put between the hole for the pin that holds the conduit into the pipe and the "sticks" (bits of the sign stand) that you welded onto the conduit? You obviously don't want them sticking straight up (vertical) or straight out (horizontal). I would think 45 degrees would be too much as well. Yours look like they are perfectly aligned with the bow of the coroplast. It seems like maybe the best plan is to not drill the hole in the conduit until after you install the "sticks" and put the coroplast on it. Let it find it's own position, then mark and drill the conduit.
