My conversation with Gianvito was recorded after the first Party in Bachaturo Poland on a Friday :) We were famished so we freestyled it a lot. I hope you enjoy.

Just out of curiosity, when did you start dancing Bachata Sensual?
@georgiossalon

Uff good question. I started dancing bachata about 5 years ago via KZbin. Since 1,5 years I got introduced to the concept of Sensual Bachata by Aitor Barredo. Last year I visited the Korke and Judith school (BS Dance Center) and took multiple hours of class there. What about you?

@@georgiossalon I see. So you are pretty much a self-taught dancer up to the point where you went to BS Dance Center (when one neglects workshops and private classes)? About one year. Btw. I really did enjoy your other clips about the dance scene in Barcelona and the review on the Jack and Jill competition - kudos for the great work!

Thank you for the kind feedback. Self taught, kinda yeah :) But I did take online privates from Aitor previously to going to the BS Dance Center which helped me a lot to understand the concepts. Of course joining to local regular hip hop classes helped a lot too.

@@georgiossalon Sure :). I (a guy who has two left feet) am always fascinated by how good some people can get by only attending socials, a few workshops and KZbin or online training. I also thought about getting into hip hop to spice things up, but I think I will focus on traditional Bachata footwork for now (to incorporate that into my style).

@rolphD hahaaa. There are a lot of variables playing into your development. I think the most important part is consistency and feedback. Try to dance every day for a month two songs and record yourself. Then, review the video of the two songs. This will do magic for you :) I myself love hip hop, so getting into understanding the fundamentas and applying them to my bachata was great. I think you found your own path and this is great! Looking forward to your updates :)

I am pretty sure that this foundation step is not called "reverse triangle" but what are you going to do about it? I'll correct the title once I find its real name.
