Silicones help protect the hair from heat damage. I still use silicone products I'm just strategic when I use those products. And make sure to clarify to get the silicone out of my hair

I’m in my 30s and my life isn’t perfect at all. I’m not married I don’t have a man in my life and I don’t have any kids. Oh yeah I have a instagram and I am private as well. I’m glad somebody understands. Everybody doesn’t need to know everything about me. Because this world is filled with people who have issues. And to many people want to front and don’t really have nothing. I just hope social media goes away eventually it’s a mess now.

How would you go about this if the zipper is on the side of the dress?
@nicolelise
@nicolelise Ай бұрын
I’ve taken up one side of pants before when the zipper was on the other. Or you could put two seams on the back.

I love your hair, it's gorgeous!! I use to do mines similar to your method. I've been natural since 2011. But since my texture has definitely changed I have to do more work lol. But thanks for sharing & stay 🙌 😊

I usually buy my clothes a size or 2 up for the extra length, and my non-standard proportions. But I haven't done it in ages (Having lots of kiddos, didn't feel worth it!) And totally forgot what I was doing. 😂 Thank you for the refresher! ❤ The other thing about taking a dress in like this (Especially if you hand-sew!) Is if you then go up a size or so you can let the darts back out if it wasn't enough to need to cut it. :)

I just think Issa Rae got out of touch with comedy while working for HBO. She was tasked with making a show and she was set in her "Dark Comedy" or "Dramedy" mood. And this is the result. The whole show just seemed like the "other" version of Girls with Lena Dunham or something like that.

You have beautiful hair! I haven't done a wash n go in forever, but I do them on my daughter does using mousse. Do you deep condition? I recently stopped the oils and butters as well and wondered about your conditioning process. My daughter heads off to college this fall, so I have shared several of your videos with her (she's a curly curly girl) so she can tighten up her twist outs. Yours are nice! Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for sharing my videos with her! I don’t deep condition as much, but that’s only because I’m usually trying to get in and out as quick as possible 🙂

Great job!! If you want those threads really hidden, you could start about 1/2” or 3/4” below the top of your alteration seam, backstitch/reverse (sew backwards) to the top, then sew forwards/regularly. That way when you tie off the threads, the knot won’t show at all!

Looks good but I noticed the flaking. Did it flake a lot or was it just when you moved your hair the flurries in the air?
@nicolelise
@nicolelise 2 ай бұрын
I had quite a bit of flaking. It could be how much product I used (which was a lot). Next time I wouldn’t use as much to see if that was the cause since this was my first time using their products.

After researching the origins of christmas and easter. I stopped celebrating those days. Neither of those day have anything to do with Jesus Christ, Jesus was not even born in the month of December. Don't take my word, just look up the origins and you'll learn both of those days were and still are pagan holidays.
