Hi I'm Italian! What marimba are you using? I would like to buy a marimba without resonators
@badvillage46 ай бұрын
You can take resonators off of marimbas
@griffin8er8456 ай бұрын
The demorrow marimba is what I used it’s like 10k cheaper than a normal five octave because it doesn’t come with resonators

starting to learn this piece- i think i'm skipping a few steps and sort of jumping into the deep end but that's ok
@griffin8er84511 ай бұрын
Ngl I kinda did too. My recommendation is to really work only laterals and rolls first. Once you have a strong foundation in laterals and rolls, you should transition to dynamics and dig deep into what expression really means. I didn’t quite achieve that second bit like I’d hoped to so I would definitely hope you could in place of me.
@samuelt860211 ай бұрын
@@griffin8er845i hope so too- i'll probably be working this piece for quite a few months and really use it as a learning experience for my 4 mallet (i don't have a teacher)

Hey! Just curious, how did you transcribe this? Did you do it by listening, or watching marimba cams? If so which marimba cam did you use? Thanks!
@griffin8er845 Жыл бұрын
Yeah there were other recording that I listened to. I transcribed before the the cans came out so I could only use my ears. That is why some parts are a little inaccurate
@kArchenOFFICAL Жыл бұрын
Is it possible you could transcribe the marimba part for snake bac 22?
@SWilla00946 Жыл бұрын
Weird question but could you by any chance give me the measurements of your marimba. Im considering saving up for that model but idk if itll be able to fit in my room
@griffin8er845 Жыл бұрын
Go to the demorrow instruments website and find the model you would like. From there, you can go to the bottom of the page if that specific model and find the most accurate measurements.
@langmartin4275 Жыл бұрын
It was good but especially in the triplet and sextuplet section, it sounded a bit choppy so my best critique is to smooth the measures out a bit and it will be perfect
