I think you can't, I just make a seperate view with Just the fixtures i want to be in the zone

Je suis DJ/Éclairagiste au Canada et je viens de découvrir ta chaîne! J’aime bien tes trucs et astuces! J’ai une console M1 avec Onyx. Personnellement, le plan 2D m’aide énormément pour faire mes looks de scène, je trouve que c’est rapide et intuitif pour sélectionner rapidement, les fixtures et des groupes rapidement! 😄 je ne m’attarde pas trop longtemps sur le design 2D du plan mais assez pour que ça soit efficace!

It's just a different view with playbacks presets and some other usefull stuff. But yes you need to run a recent onyx version

Thank you very very much for this Video! There aren't so many Videos about Onyx on KZbin , wich are as helpful as this one. (Or maybe i just couldn't find them...) I know that youre primary doing Club lighting. But how would you organize your Workflow and how would you preper a Showfile for Band lighting? And what do you think is the best or most easy way to play Soundtracks with Onyx in live situations like a theater play?

Well I'm very bad with bands. My lightning style is really about following music live instead of lighting a building or people. I never use fixed lights and not that much synchronised effects. But when I have to I prepare 1 cuelist per track with some elements I need and then play with my usual live system around it. For soundtracks I use Resolume a lot and on easier setups a simple VLC player that I can start with an external macro & showckopit

Hey Zyper for cloning at 41:50 : You also can type in "COPY" "1" "+" "2" "@" "25" "THRU" "50".... And thats it, you've cloned all your odd even... Its a lot easier... Thanks for your first part of this series, now I am an ONYX Operator since three years :-)

@@ZyperWorld yes it takes the order of selection. Like cloning programmer values between fixtures, give a try! (in the patch, clone is source>target where in programmer it is target@source)
