Maximum of 4 players will get drafted from this team this year. 2 first rounders
@BackofDaBus
@BackofDaBus 3 күн бұрын
That’s cool even with two first rounders you must win 8 games. It’s rare to have two first rounders. You can’t go 6-6. The average wins for a team with two top ten picks or simply two 1st rounders is 10-11 wins.

Prime can have 20 first rounders go 1-11 and Never ever hear the word “fired”. He’s not a regular coach so all that win or be fired doesn’t apply to prime.
@BackofDaBus
@BackofDaBus 3 күн бұрын
@@Owe_U_Nothin you are correct the statement was what should CU expectation be compared to all coaches. Prime deserves the same expectation as other coaches. Too many times people try to put extra unnecessary expectations on Coach Prime that’s not expected by any other coaches. I just wish people give Prime the same energy. He can go 1-11 and not be fired but it still would be considered a horrible season.

I believe the recruiting services were very accurate on Shedeur, he's a mid round NFL QB marketed as a generational prospect. However, the offensive line and Shedeur were put in bad situations last year. You are not supposed to be drop back passing a lot in college football, the offensive linemen aren't experienced enough in pass pro, the QB and receivers aren't professionals that can spend all day working on timing. Even 2019 LSU wasn't drop back passing all game with Burrow, Chase, Jefferson, and the best offensive line in college football, they used RPOs, quick game, and play action passing in addition to running the ball. The average 3rd and long drop back pass in college football results in the QB running around trying to make a play, rarely do you see them hit their back foot and deliver the ball on time while under pressure. Those who do end up being first round picks like Drake Maye.

Question: If I'm a coach and I know that my QB has a bad tendency of dropping back too far outside of where the pocket would be then should I as a coach move my QB's starting position from a 7 foot shotgun to a 3 foot shotgun? Maybe Shedeur is better fit to run an offense through the pistol formation.

Collin Klein OC moved on to a&m so o-line coach riley who is a big part of their run success will be OC now.They brought in Matt Wells who is a very good qb developer as a co OC.He says more than anything Avery has impressed him with his throwing ability.DJ Giddens will be the usual workhorse he is ,kids strong and his yards after contact shows that.The big wildcard this year could be Dylan Edwards coming back to the Cats ,who he originally committed to before ending up at CU.He's also probably the fastest /quickest player on the tera now .Those three in the back field at once could be terrifying.I also thing we have the best receiving group we have had in over a decade.Our defense should be pretty salty from what i see and hear. Cool to see you givin the Cats some love.
