Love and respect from Sri Lankan Bhikkhunis 🇱🇰 🙏🙏🙏💚💚💚

This is not right action, not right thinking. Even Buddha said life is about change. Ok to change to remove women, but not to include them? Ok to use women to wash your clothes and cook your food but not to allow women to share dhamma? Shame on the men that oppose female monks. They know their heart is not pure. They know they are not walking the path. They do not understand the Dhamma, so they should not be teaching it.

My support from India. Ven Dhammadina an Indian female monk is an amazing teacher and leader. Praying for women in Thailand. Buddhists around the world look to Thai Buddhists... As someone said if Mahaprajapati Gotami was allowed by the Buddha then why is Thailand resisting?

My aunty was head monk in Vietnam.with all respect to these female monks

If “siddartha “ the Buddha allowed his mother/aunty to ordained “female monk” .All Buddhist male monk should follow too,otherwise they are not true monk.We are all human whether male or female.The body is after all… only a shell that house the treasure.Siddarhta found that treasure.Pray that these female monks will soon reach ultimate enlightenment.

I though Buddhism emphasizes renunciation of desire.... why do these women entertain their desire to become monks?

I support her determination that women have the right to be ordained as nuns. In China, Sri Langka , and other Western countries, also permit women the same. Perhaps the government is to have a referendum . Thanks. Namaste

Thanks great buddha talk,it makes me think if im in the wrong country with the chinese society i dont expect to received any buddhist laymen or laywomen visited also theres too much bad gossip around i guess we are minority population. Well its sad to believe in buddha all alone. 😔 But thanks for the teaching i love 🇹🇭 i visited in 2018 i hope i go back i love the buddha community in thailand very nice people and humble.

Namo Buddhaya, venerable Bhikkhunis, please keep teaching us the Vinaya, because it prepare us to be renunciants, and also it teaches us to respect the boundaries not to be corrupted neither corrupt Bhikkhus and Bhikkhunis it teaches us how we lay women and laymen to behave properly towards the monastics. Also know when to stop abuses of power or any other abuse. Not to mention the four communities we can live peacefully, in harmony and in balance. Everyone performing adecuetly their roll. We as human being should always embrace peace and harmony rather than violence and hatred.

In the world of male dominating, when strong women challenge the norm of the society, they are taken as be threatening. I am happy to see Extra Ordinary people taking charge in what they believe in. The Lord Buddha himself did not deny female as Buddhist Monks, it the evolution of change from era to era, and human who makes the rules to discriminate female to ordain as Buddhist Monks. I am very proud and honor to see these strong women. Deeply proud !!!

I am very grateful to see Bhikkhunis coming back in this modern society. May all the Bhikkhunis be very blessed for paving ways for other female who want to be a lady Monk. Sadhu Sadhu Sadhu 👏👏👏In deed, that was correct Venerable. I agreed with your explanation.

I respect these Bikksunis. They are very determined. And they are spreading the teachings of the Buddha to the community. Whereas the monks are NOT DOING these teachings, they are still enjoying their privileges as Monks in Thai culture.
