I would argue a radio signal either from voyager to earth or earth to voyager would simply not be possible. The tech on voyager could not be powerful enough. How is it possible?

100 years ago if someone told people that a man would land on the moon in 50 years they would laugh at him. In 50 more years we have quantum physics and machines controlled by thought. I wish I was alive to see what will become of the world in 100 years...

Just a couple of years short of 50 years ago. I was 20 when both Voyagers launched. Disco, Jimmy Carter and a gas shortage coming. It was a mixed bag.

Funny thing is how the constellations have remained the same for hundreds of thousands of years only shifting their locations which the ancients used for travel and mapped the seasons depending on the location of the sun and moon within the signs of the zodiac etc etc and so on…. So if the entire universe traveling at massive speeds then nothing in the sky would have stayed the same for those hundreds of thousands of years
@Damon970
@Damon970 6 күн бұрын
What are you basing the speed on? In reference to what?
@timepilgrimage
@timepilgrimage 6 күн бұрын
The speed is in reference to the rotation of the Milky Way’s galaxy rotation. As our solar system orbits around the center of the Milky Way, it moves through the galaxy's spiral arms at a velocity of about 514,495 miles per hour. This motion is influenced by the gravitational forces exerted by the galaxy's mass, including stars, gas, and dark matter.
@Damon970

@@timepilgrimage then that's what should have been noted. It could be in reference to a nearly infinite number of points in the universe.

There will be no human space travel. An ant can wade into a puddle. A swarm of ants working together can cross stream, but no level of effort or cooperation will get them to Hawaii.

always think its kinda funny how on quantum leaps or jumps a time travel they use the analogy of folding a piece of paper the more realistic understanding is like sewing a quantum layer piece of material similar to to a pillow with multiple layer of material sewn between so you can stitch together pretty much any point and if ya tare it ya just patch it

I have to go back and look and see when they used this before, but they have used it to play with asteroids. I thought you're talking about something else that I have theories on. Creating gravity in a spaceship so that travel in Outer space is more healthy wow Using that same force to develop a state of hyperdrive.

See Starfield. The early iterations of the grav drive "leaked" its effects on Earth before they learned to shield it within itself. The effects destroyed Earth before the tech was perfected.

Yeah. Even if this does exist, there is no technology for a deflector shield against dust or other particles. Sure go faster than light and when you arrive you can put what’s left of your ship in a match box.

This does exist, but not in the way he hypes it up. We have been doing this same thing from the beginning of space travel. That's how all of the probes get to Mars. The rockets only get us to orbit. Gravity does most of the rest.
