Gears are already worn. Too many hard starts. Take it in for a warranty replacement. Say it sounds like a safety concern. It’s the most common failure of the drive units in addition to the motor hum which is also caused by worn gears.

probably bad u joint on driveshaft, but since he's had it fixed he'll be a jerk and not respond. 🙄

I have the same problem with my MYP. Taking it to a service center tomorrow. I'll post my. Findings.

As an update, 2022 MYP. It turned out it was the half shaft/axel rear driver side. They replaced it under warranty. HALFSHAFT ASSY, RR, 25MM X 580MM SHAFT. (1188165-00-A)

Another interesting observation: at 3:00, you can hear the compressor start running, and then the glycol pump becomes the predominant source of noise.

Wow you can really hear the brakes over everything. I actually kind of enjoy the sound of the motor too.

Everything is stock beside stainless steel brake lines and ATE brake fluid. Tires were stock too! I had the horrible Bridgestone RFT ;)

Nice driving. Couple of questions though ... Is it me, or are you changing hand position on the steering wheel too often? Did you put the gearbox in manual (to the left)? Looks like you're too far away from the paddles at times to be driving in manual ... And were you driving in Sport + or just Sport?

Yes I did change my hand position too often. Usually you should keep them at 9:15 and it's enough to take most of the corners. It will also solve the issue with the paddle shift. Otherwise, I was driving in Sport at the beginning and then moved to Sport +
