Every time opponent drops grip and goes to the lower arm, I'd slap them silly. That shit was called slop back in the 70's - the days of real, American Foosball. effing spinners.

FYI the only way to watch this Game is with overhead view. Good to see the old guys still playing. I have lost No speed and the younger gen still dont get it.
@BonziniFooser6229 күн бұрын
I recorded with an overhead gopro for years...many of those matches are on this channel...overhead is preferred but not always practical especially in a pub. Plus I like watching the players reactions which is difficult from an overhead view.

Foos is fun. Even on a Bonzini. Only played on one many years ago at Tornado Worlds in Dallas, when they brought in many other tables for us to try. That linoleum surface reminded me of my grandmothers kitchen floor.

60 yrs old. grew up playin on tornado tables in Wisconsin. ball was much faster. Feet were wider than these men i think. Made it easier to play D. But i can see how the smaller feet helped these guys develop WAY better ball handling skills. Red front passes with his wrist. all the way under the handle. I passed with handle just below an open thumb then shot with an open hand push to the floor and back up so legs do almost a full rotation before it hits the ball. Made huge bruises on my wrist. wasnt till i was much older that i gave up on speed and power to focus on precision and specifically front bank shots. so even though I couldnt dribble with the best players I could hold my own.
@BonziniFooser622 ай бұрын
We have Tornado as well. Feet are wider rods are solid, so much heavier. Bonzini tables have the telescopic rods with a hollow outer rod on a solid inner rod making them lighter and easier to control. Older models were impossible to tick tack dribble because the men are die cast metal and there was a mold mark that protruded the edge of thhe feet causing the ball to deflect off at different angles. All the new Bonzini professional tournament model tables have the feet shaved for better ball control. So you can tick tack as well as walked the ball on the toe or heel, also you can scissor the rod back and forth while applying continuous pressure and actually roll the ball underfoot and under control, allowing for lightning fast push pulls or pull push reversals.

There are 2 Tornado tables at this location ( Snooker's). They have a weekly Tornado DYP there as well. This is the Babyfoot USA tournament tour played on french Bonzini tables. A lot of well respected Tornado players have participated in our tour. Tony Spredeman being one.😊

You do not specify what information you require. In general, you find out when a Tournament is happening and when you can register. You pay your money; you fly to location; you check in, and wait for your name or your team to be called. Then go to the table, shake hands.

It _is_ a physical sport. You can actually _see_ them moving their bodies physically. Watch the hands and arms in particular -- yes, they are moving . . . physically.

I could be wrong, but that looks like the Cadillac of Fussball tables, Rene Pierre... This brings back memories from the late 1970s when I was a pretty good front man who could pass to the center forward pretty much at will and then, with a lightning flick of the wrist, bang the back of the goal with a resounding ping. I'm 67 now and still have reasonably good dexterity as a guitar/mandolin/bass, etc. player, but I can only tell the stories to disinterested youngsters about the days of Fussball glory...
