For chickens, a brooder box is the place in which hens will sit on eggs. Typically a small area that makes them feel safe when they are antisocial-- looks kinda like a big birdhouse but missing a wall.

Can i ask why do you freeze all excessive breast milk? is it for future use, when your milk stops or you donate it? Sorry for asking, i dont have kids and dont know why mums freeze their milk. Thank you.
@RachelBurnns2 ай бұрын
You have to freeze it within a few days or you can’t use it anymore. I make a decent amount more than the baby eats a day so we freeze it for either future use or donation. I periodically donate a few 100 oz at a time just so the freezer isn’t super full, but I also like to have extra just in case. When I had my daughter I ended up getting sick and needing to take antibiotics I couldn’t breastfeed with so I was able to just use the frozen milk so she was able to keep eating breast milk rather than taking formula for a week or two. I’ve also seen people pump a lot and freezes much milk if they can so they can either baby for a year but they end up stopping actually pumping or breast-feeding a few months before because they have enough saved in the freezer to make it through the year mark

It’s important to remember that kids are naturally messy, and that’s okay. Cleaning is a cyclical process, and a perfectly spotless home is unrealistic. Instead of publicly shaming your child for typical behavior, try to appreciate the joy and energy they bring into your life. Not everyone has the privilege of experiencing that. I hope you can find more positive ways to share your journey and find contentment in the everyday chaos. You might find "How to Keep House While Drowning" to be a helpful resource for managing the cleaning process.
@RachelBurnns3 ай бұрын
100% not trying to “publicly shame” my daughter, do you have a toddler? If so you would understand the “haha eye roll” when they dump the same basket of toys out for the 5th time today but you don’t actually care because they’re entertained by it and it’s not a big deal.
