I played amateur in the early 2000's and we needed the halo because we were uncapped semi no restrictions. Fun times. Then I went Canadian pro CXBL and that was capped NPPL style.

Looks like they fattened up a Grill around a Profiler lense. My preference would have been to redesign a smaller Profiler lense and frame to work with the existing Grill parts. Let's see if there's a trend of bloody chin and cheek welts.

All they had to do was put soft ears on the existing mask and it would have been perfect. They botched this worse than the grillz 2.0.

I wouldn't be surprised if they come out next season looking like the team to beat. Dynasty has for years endured seemingly devastating roster changes and rebuilds only to win and then win again, their core is just that damn good.

I agree that the golden age was unsustainable. Paintball will always revolve around technology and engineering advancements for the individual player. Not even considering cost, all that tech causes rapid changes in how the game is played. Because of that, what's fun to play with often loses out to what is advantagous to play with. So there's all these other ways to play the game that just went out of style because the equipment changed. And you cant go back to the old equipment because you'll lose all the time so it's hard to recreate that experience.

These placeholder players or they going to try to develop them? Keep the lights on, save a bunch of 2025 salary, make some mid/late 2025 acquisitions? Cheaper, younger knees and backs might be worth more in the long run. Grab the cream of Blast Camp and they can excuse underperforming.

I was lucky enuff to play in the golden age both low level and pro tournaments (NPPL/GWS/ZAP, etc...) 90-2001, think 2001 maybe 04' was my last WC. Big issues with PB kinda like scocer is it's hard to Teleivise for US consumers and it's incredibly expensive not only for the weekend player, but to be competitive its pretty much wealthly kids sport. Also the PB industry ate itself, sued one another and stupid shit and VC and Corp money came in (think K2) and bought a bunch of shit up and when it didn't work out they just bleed it dry and ditched it.

crazy this is the biggest paintball channel , what's going on with this sport and other's like it? ALL kids physical activates , Gymnastics , lower division mainstream sports, and even high school sport enrollment have all gone to the wayside. Paintball lasted longer than most, but is still going in the gutter. Truly paintball has ruined our lives.

I know y'all don't like us but I'm an Airsoft head ref 🤣🤣. I hang out with the Paintball refs and always talk to them. We have lost pretty much all of our paintball walk on's and almost all of the airsofters since covid. I think the price of paintball being around 80-150$ for a walk on day in this economy is super rough. We have even had paintballs coming over to airsoft since its half the price to play around 25$~ for 3000 bbs, when paints 75-90$ and same with equipment. I hope that it all comes back as even though i don't play paintball i love the people from it.

My hill ill die on: competition paintball needs to give up the TV idea. Stick to streaming, try to bring in outside money and accept we are a silly and tiny niche sport that rich folks play.
@TestName286Ай бұрын
No the sport needs to be watchable and fundamentally interesting. The era of paint spam ruined it to the point where I can't see anybody. It's devolved into pay to win. You shouldn't be allowed to have all you can carry. Lower the fps.

Dude, He charged the referee. I enjoy this channel often but that’s just wrong. Very “boomer back in my day” mentality. So what if you’ve seen worse? This is still gross misconduct. I’m tired of the “it was way worse back then” argument. It comes across as very elitist and gatekeepy.

The money in eSport and soccer is mainly made by advertiser, because they are buying a spot that gonna be watch by hundred thousand of viewers. To do it the same in Paintball, the numbers of views must be at least ten or even hundred times more than the current state. So paintball must be cheaper if you want to achieve that kind of growth, because spending $50 a day isn't sustainable on a long run, unless only 1% of the world will end up playing Paintball.
@saulliang5880Ай бұрын
Could you do a sound comparison video showing a tm40 vs idol with this upgrade?
@fellzerАй бұрын
It stopped being fun for me when people would walk into games with 2,000 balls and a setup that would absolutely burn through those rounds in a few minutes. It became a game of chance. Just throw balls randomly. Maybe a few will hit the other team that's doing the same thing.
@jessel3621Ай бұрын
The golden age of paintball was and is still in the woods. Buy CO2 from your local welding shop and get a local group together. Speedball looks boring with the inflatable balloons on a manicured field. Airsoft has mostly taken over the military simulation side of things, but paintball provides a more realistic feeling with the rush of adrenaline from getting shot at with just goggles on.
