The only Andrei Tarkovsky film I have seen is Stalker. I liked it a lot, but I'm not familiar with his library of work.

This is our first Tarkovsky! I do have to say we definitely want to review another one (or all) :) of his movies. Stalker is definitely on the list.

There was a huge backlash against the movie because Henry Fonda had played inYoung Mr Lincoln and The Oxbow Incident, and was considered a hero of silver screen. Then the scene at the farm and folks got up and left.

I can only imagine! Even Denzel in Training Day didn't kill kids. An impressive roll Mr. Fonda. Glad he took the part.
