this and the 1:1 scale F91 Head were the first time anything from Gundam F91 was shown to us audiences. Bandai Ent didn't licence the film untill the early 2000's but had the display head since they sold anime under Anime Village.

It's interesting with how the wording implies that G-Gundam isn't part of the Turn-A timeline like with Wing and X. It must have took them a decent way into the series for them to figure out if and how they were going to integrate it.

I'm a huge fan of Tomino's writing and worldbuilding in UC Gundam but hearing it rushed through and summarized like this sure takes a lot of the flavor out of it

From what I can understand about this tape, it was shopping the series around for a United States release at the time, so I get why they did it. But yeah, 100% it feels weird as hell.
