kzbin.info/www/bejne/oGa3l5V6bKqgbtUsi=VF_fyrpbdFYGSExa it’s used for wire management on this robots turret. In January an FRC game is revealed. After the game is revealed high school students have 6 weeks to analyze it, brainstorm, prototype, design, manufacture, assemble, wire, and program it. After the robot is complete these students compete with their robots another 6 weeks. FRC robots in a international competition run by a nonprofit organization called FIRST.

"we're not mentor built" 💀💀 no hate, just saying, at my team, a mentor would never be running driver practice, only the drive coach, who's always a student. In fact, all leadership on the team is done by students, leading to a far more rewarding experience

Wait so how does it climb to the mid rung, I’m a little confused, wouldn’t the robot touching the floor?
@ethanreed4517
@ethanreed4517 2 жыл бұрын
It ramps up the rung until the it seats in the valley of the hook, then when you drive just slightly in the other direction, the wheels lift off the ground. The opening shot of the video shows the resulting swinging action.

This is what I love. Simple design but does the job as good as very complex and expensive ones. Real engineering!

Another amazing robot again by you guys but can we gain the 6 points from the mid rung by only touching the low rung at 0:06?
@ethanreed4517
@ethanreed4517 2 жыл бұрын
It can hang on either the mid rung for 6 points or the low rung for 4 points. It depends on which direction you drive into the low rung. One direction deploys the hooks for the mid rung and the other simply passively hangs on the low rung
