I started playing wow in mop and quit in wod… But seeing as wow classic will transition soon to Mop. I’m thinking of returning after 10 years… and then I remembered your videos. Glad to see you’re still posting and being active. Would love to see some more commentary tanking videos from retail wow. I learned all the classes from you. I might give retail a try, but will 100% play Mop classic. Cant wait for MOP to return, vengeance tanking was the most fun ive ever had in any game. Tanked all the way to hc (mythic) garrosh. If i may. I highly recommend the Metro series. It's a very immersive survival horror game kind of like Stalker but more streamlined and action story focused. All games look gorgeous too with Exudos releasing in 2019 being the best looking, rivaling most games today.

you know what i´m missing in nobbel nowadays and this conversation: Stopping and asking why? instead of brushing it off. why did we "kill" Nzoth in 1 patch? Magni has the same animation in tww when getting normal again.... why was it so important to have a full addon that dragons get power from azeroth? (including Vyranoth) why has the red dragonflight no story? why is Nature green and life red (and life is not on the cosmic chart).... why did we get tyr back? kinda obvious to me... why is sargeras story, deatrhwings story, Fyraks story and even an Illidan story so close to each other? its a microcosmos of each other. common writing 101. lore is NOT just reading facts in a book or in a quest text its about experiencing it. learning from it and guessing what will come next. do it like a james bond movie - try to figure out what the bad guy wants to do before he does it. was it a decoy? whats his plan? what can i learn

Personally I like being the 'side character' in the 'world' of warcraft. Jaina, Anduin, thrall, etc being the actual story and we are just there to experience the world. Part of it, but not it's driving force, really.

I hope Metzen brings some of that Dragon Prince energy with him. To explain, The Dragon Prince is a show that's getting it's 7th Season in December, along the lines of Avatar: The Last Airbender. It's marketed to Kids and written in such a way that they learn lots of important shit and so the parents don't get bored. Metzen voiced an important character in it and rumour is he kind of stayed on behind the scenes to advise the story direction since (so Season 3 and onwards). I kid you not, this show is PG6 and masterfully gets away with cramming all of the current political topics that are relevant in, without having to subvert it's main plot and making it digestable to kids without triggering the adults. They get away with blood, they get away with arrow headshots blatantly on screen, killing people, incineration. The show just manages so well to balance having to adhere to a certain rating for kids, but not having to trade in everything that'd be entertaining for an adult audience. It can message current-day political stuff without having you feel like the only reason a character exists is to deliver said message or it taking center stage only to check boxes. All the villains are just.. normal people who take their good intentions to bad extremes. You are given plenty of reasons to feel for them and understand them, pity them, whilst being given every reason necessary to still hate them. If a villain is just evil without complexity, they don't have to be heavy handed with it to get that point across. I HOPE that Metzen had a lot of actual input in that Story or at the very least took a lot of inspiration away from working on or with the show, whether that is just as a VO or anything else, that he can inject into the remainder of his Team at Blizzard. We need more stories like that, that can blur the lines and be relevant without constantly beating the viewer with a sledgehammer when trying to bring a point across. You can adhere to your product's rating and still bring a plethora of nuance, darkness and brutality. And maybe not Xal'atath, but when Iridikron finally dies I want to feel as conflicted as when the Mage Dude in TDP dies, because Iridikron's whole shtick is that the Aspects betrayed his kind. That origin has to mean something.

I like the idea of them going a different game and love how unique it is, however it's just rediculously unrealistic during the gameplay. If you don't juggle peoples happiness, the people will literally DESTROY the city killing everyone instead of conceeding a little. If I wanted the city to burn to extremeist agenda, I would participate more in American politics.

I would do the pre-order for the free DLCs. As for playing early, it feels like devs purposefully release games during times that annoy gamers. Even Sat at midnight is almost sunday for me being overseas. I'd have to pre-order to get an actual weekend to play it which feels disgusting.
