Elon's tactic is tempting as well. Use your holdings as collateral to get a bank loan for 5 to 7% vs the 38% you'd have to pay for short term capital gains. But it's more than taxes at this point. If Trump doesn't get in to end the corruption taxes will be the least of Americans worries. But moving to a country like El Salvador, how long can their current reasonable leadership last?
