Hello Anna! I'll have to sleep in Indianapolis airport, I'm from Italy and I have a conference at the university. I know the gates are closed at night, do you think I will have problems because of this?
@AnnaRobert3 ай бұрын
@@lauracampioni4883 I have never been to that airport. However, the airports where I've been that close at night, still keep the area before security open, so maybe you can sleep there. I'm sure you'll find a space 😄 I also recommend www.sleepinginairports.net/ I hope you have a good trip Laura!

I loved your video, very accurate. It made me laugh so hard because i am Costarican and sometimes i forget our peculiar things, like crossing the street... i was not allowed to cross a street alone until i was like 10 y/o 😆😆😆 and the religion thing annoys the sh*t out of me but, yes we have a lot of churches and things like that. I loved that you talked about San José because people usually come to the Beach and that's it. Most people hate San José but i love it, and it has really nice areas if you know where to go, also we are very mixed some of us are really pale others are really dark like in limón (i'm 30 and never been to Limón) we speak differently according to our backgrounds, people from Limón even have their own language, it's very cool because we are a tiny country but we are really diverse. Thank you for coming and making lovely videos. I hope i can visit Spain soon ❤️

Great video! As a Costa Rican I would say that the most confusing aspect of our dialect is definitely the way we mix usted, vos and tú. The rule is that usted is formal and vos informal, but in recent years Ticos have stopped applying the rule correctly and simply jump back and forth between the persons for no reason at all. My advice is not to try to copy it, and just stick to thr rule. Pura vida!

@blinkforever66993 жыл бұрын

Sounds like a very narrow and petty description of Costa Rica! For such a small country, Costa Rica has done so well. Did you notice that there’s no army in Costa Rica or that this country is a front runner when it comes to renewable energy ? Maybe a couple of things worth mentioning.
@AnnaRobert3 жыл бұрын
These are just things that shocked me when I was there. I already knew that Costa Rica had no army and I think that’s great, but that’s not something that directly affected my stay. I didn’t know about the renewable energy, thanks for pointing that out, do you want to explain more about it? I’d love to learn!

Heidi the video is just about her culture shocks, it’s not intended to be a comprehensive description of the country, so chill!
