Got into Pico 8 recently purely to play some good games - stayed for the built in tracker! This looks even better - more channels and FM synthesis built in? People are gonna be making amazing soundtracks on this! From a development standpoint I think this is just enough of a step up from Pico 8 to give people more to work with but not so much as to kill the vibe

The new version lets you use your left CTRL key on the keyboard. And they are fixing a lot of stuff. The community is jumping on this with heaps of carts already... can't wait for it to mature a little more, so far it's a lot of fun :)

Wasting your time tbh, Fuze is dead as there's not been a patch in 2 years and the devs don't care about the bad bugs it has. I do recommend SmileBasic4 on Switch. itz getting constant patches an upgrades and it is very powerful and very much more than fuze.

You can use collidemap() and not name the areas and it will work automatically

this was very interesting to see your first look, i learned some things that i didn't figure out on my own first look.

at to=he moment, you have to SAVE (ctrl+s) when you add sprites, map sounds each time, to update sources.
