The paint color choice is fine. The radio and install looks like shit indeed. With any convertible car, you want good speakers. SMH. I've seen better CarPlay radio install on other S2000's.

Hey bro, at the end of the day just remember that you’re not a professional and don’t need to be so hard on yourself for making mistakes. You literally painted your Evo for the first time BY YOURSELF and it still came out good. You’ve done good 👍🏼

Thanks bro that means a lot to me! I just have a hard time not comparing myself to others and just need to remind myself that I’m still learning.

Love the build dude!! I'm doing a occaisonal track build right now. I also don't like paying a shop to do work on my S, rather wrench with some buds on a weeknight and hangout. It's so fun lol.

Look forward to the build on this. If you have AP2, you can free up some more hp by using AP1 ecu. AP1 ecu from 2000 and 2001 were mapped to be richer...F22 likes the fuel and will make more power with it. Just be careful, the rev limiter on AP1 ecu is for 9200; F22 will rev to that limiter......a handful of times.
@GabeGuerrero6 ай бұрын
Thank you for this! I didn’t know, yeah it has the AP1 ecu still, been trying to think of a way of adding a cost effective rev limiter without having to go full standalone.

Nice bro and finally someone with a rebuilt I was recently looking to get an s2000 there's one in arizona with a rebuilt also but seems okay on the exterior so I'm thinking it's something worse plus I've never driven a manuel..... am I crazy?
@GabeGuerrero6 ай бұрын
It’s always a toss up with rebuilt titles. Some are done even better than some clean title cars, some are done to the bare minimum. And that’s okay, it’s an easy car to learn on!

I can't figure it out. Why is your JS racing fender not sticking out from bumper side? On the pictures I saw this set up before and it looks different. Fenders are wider than a bumper. I like the look your car has much more. What is the secret?
@GabeGuerrero8 ай бұрын
After I posted this I messed with the fitment some more and they do stick past the bumper more, but I have the end caps that’ll make them line up I need to mess with
@bornagainmotoring9 ай бұрын
It hurts seeing an S2K in that condition but glad it seems to be in good hands. Looking forward to seeing your build complete. Also, I would have been just as sad it has an AP2 motor. shocking that they left the AP1 ECU.
