Neat, you can use any decoder with Revolution or Airwire with their respecitve recivers/converters - the sound projects are custom per-project for the customers - we do not sell as something that can be installed by the indavidual.

The loco was customized by the customer

I used the default speaker setup, with a Vistaton K57 speaker www.trainli.com/visaton-speakers-159/vi-k57c-high-performance-speaker-p-5967

I don't generally worry about adding Baffels, unless I'm trying to amplify the sound - I 3d print my own.

This was a customized sound project for a ESU decoder - we specialize in G scale

@trainLi-Installs They didn't. I wish they would have taken the Time to have went down and got the Recordings.

I do not know what decoder they use for the MTH locos - if it's something like an ESU decoder you can likely upload your own sound project.

I started with a Dappen sound project for the MS decoder, then added the extra sounds. - most of my installs feature customized sound projects.

instructions are included with the railtruck - but they are easy to install - you just need to remove the bumper & front spring.

@@trainLi-Installs Thanks for the reply. The instructions I received were in German only. I needed to remove the drive train to remove the bumper. One of the tangs on the bumper was oversized and wedged into the hole. I pushed it out from the back side And reassembled the unit.

Traditionally, when installing decoders in these locomotives, I add an additional cab light, and isolate the number boards - originally, the number boards and cablight, are same lights - additionaly for diesels, I set the cab light to turn off with movment, while pvoding an override - most installs are custimzed, have lighting features seperated, then logically programed to operate, based upon function, - for example when F0 is pressed all the lights come on, but the main headlights, under normal operation will change based upon direction, the cab light comes on, but turns off with movement - this can be further complicated when, shifting the loco to shunting operation, rule 17 is often applied, with the ability to turn on all the headlights.. but dimmed

Hi Ken, TrainLi works exclusivily on large scale, this Bachmann 3 Truck Shay is Fn3, or 1:20.3. it was scaled up from LGB's 1:22.5 G scale, to utilize guage 1 track, but to represent a Narrow Gauge locomotive
