We are leading our church to significantly increase its psalm singing! I can’t tell you how helpful your videos are. I’ve listened to all 123 of your psalms from Trinity Psalter Hymnal.

@@austincampbell3987 Praise the Lord! Every evening, my family prays that God uses these videos to help other believers to worship Him through the singing of psalms. So grateful and humbled to hear how He answers this prayer! He truly is the God “who hears prayer,” as this very psalm says. God bless you and your congregation!

Also, just realized I know you from camp! Been checking out your channel, really cool stuff!
There's something so soothing about tunes like this. Very nice. Take refuge in His Name. Amen! I hadn't noticed that in this psalm before. It's a theme for me, as in Proverbs 18:10 and Psalm 86:11, Psalm 9:10, Psalm 91:14.

Yes, these tunes from the 1500s and 1600s have a unique sound. They’re written without time signatures, so they feel very free and flowing. I love all the uses of the Name of God through the psalms. Another one that struck me recently was from psalm 52. “I will wait for your name, for it is good, in the presence of the godly.” And psalm 54. “O God, save me by your name!”
