I drove to San Angelo from Dallas for that game. Worst crowd crush I've ever been in at halftime. Very scary. I was falling asleep all the way back afterwards. Also very scary. Don't remember the game itself much. 😀

I don't have a dog in the fight, but no they shouldn't have. They made mistakes and thus negated their chance to win. First the long run and then the ensuing kickoff being fumbled is not indicative of a team that "should have won".

I was at this game (Class of Central 1992) and remember how freaking cold it was. The 'Cats lost but not without a fight. Thanks for the upload. Good memories.

That throw to Carroll from Morenz late in the 4th was one of the best I'd ever seen. This game was truly epic. I was hoping SAC would go on to win the Division I title, with us (Permian) winning Division II... it would've been the perfect ending to that season.
