For 7 years, Malone's rotations have struggled without Jokic, raising questions about his ability to create an effective system. It's frustrating to see the bench perform poorly while he relies on only 3-4 players each night. He hasn’t experimented with younger players, which hurts the team’s depth. While he motivates starters, he tends to judge young players too harshly. It would be beneficial to play 10 players a game and give young talent a chance to earn minutes.
@CS105.111 күн бұрын
@@astriddececco3005 in theory yes that would be good but you gotta remember Malone’s biggest job is to win and when the guys don’t give him anything to trust him with then he resorts to what works. We also don’t know what each players contract says which could include amount of minutes played which then he’d have to factor that in as well when doing rotations. And if guys are hurt.

I'm sick of the bench being terrible, yet Malone only gives 3 to 4 players minutes off the bench per night. It makes no sense from a strategic standpoint. Malone has refused to experiment with younger players the last few years to the team's detriment. He motivates the starters well, but I almost feel like he hurts the confidence of young players by judging them too harshly. How about playing ten players a game going forward? Let some of the younger players earn minutes if they play well. If not, try the next young guy. Steve Kerr is out here running 12-man units, lol.
