@CS105.1Ай бұрын
@@gametime2473 I agree the Nuggets have horrible defense but Wemby is a unfair cheat code. There needs to be more rules against him to limit him more. Right now he has the ability to block any shot he wants. He throws his arm out and it’s a blocked shot. He throws his arm out and he makes the shot. But also the refs never called defensive 3 on him and they should’ve cause he spends too much time in the paint without getting that call. And at the end of the day Jokic still had higher stats than him. Yeah Wemby might have been more efficient but then you could say the same from MPJ. He was more efficient than Jok too. Jokic still had monsters numbers like us usually does. But Wemby’s size did have an effect on the way the Nuggets played.

I honestly don't think Jimmy Butler is a significantly better player than MPJ, who has really bloomed this year. For 7 years, Malone's rotations have struggled without Jokic, raising questions about his ability to create an effective system. It's frustrating to see the bench perform poorly while he relies on only 3-4 players each night. He hasn’t experimented with younger players, which hurts the team’s depth. While he motivates starters, he tends to judge young players too harshly. It would be beneficial to play 10 players a game and give young talent a chance to earn minutes.
@CS105.12 ай бұрын
@@astriddececco3005 in theory yes that would be good but you gotta remember Malone’s biggest job is to win and when the guys don’t give him anything to trust him with then he resorts to what works. He’s actually been more open to playing bench players this season. Jalen Pickett has seen good minutes in the last two games and Hunter Tyson keeps seeing good minutes too. We also don’t know what each players contract says which could include amount of minutes played which then he’d have to factor that in as well when doing rotations. And if guys are hurt.

I'm sick of the bench being terrible, yet Malone only gives 3 to 4 players minutes off the bench per night. It makes no sense from a strategic standpoint. Malone has refused to experiment with younger players the last few years to the team's detriment. He motivates the starters well, but I almost feel like he hurts the confidence of young players by judging them too harshly. How about playing ten players a game going forward? Let some of the younger players earn minutes if they play well. If not, try the next young guy. Steve Kerr is out here running 12-man units, lol.
