Hi! I have a cuestion, if a have 2 dropdown list wich are using diferente datatables and i want that the second dropdown list to show me only the options filtered by the selection made in the first dropdown list. For example, we have a data table with States, and another one with counties, each one with their dropdown list, how can i filter the counties options to show me only the ones for the state selected in the first dropdown list. Yes Carlos, you can do it. You can combine these two tables based on state names and then filter 2nd dropdown based on 1st dropdown.

@@CarlosLópezRamos-r2p Relationship may not work here because in Spotfire you can’t reference columns from different tables in one expression. You have to use Insert Columns option under Data Canvas to join tables. Now when they are joined you can create a expression which which provide values based on drop-down selection.

Every one talking about straight forward option. Can you please show step by step what we need to do in Redshift / AWS to get connected from Power BI to Redshift. Whatever the steps described in various documentation followed, still we are not able to connect to Redshift . Need step by step what roles need to created and how to assign etc, to connect RedShift

If you have Redshift connection ready then it is very easy to connect as shown in the video. Else, you have to setup new Redshift connection by yourself or your DB team can do it for you.

If the data structure is different then you won’t get correct output. Wrong columns will be merged together, so same data structure is primary requirement.
