Sadly, this equipment was taken out of use a few years ago, but I believe some of it has been preserved in a museum on the island.

I am loving watching all of these old races, where it was the RIDER and their TUNERS and not 100 COMPUTERS on a bike that made a difference! The riders of today CANNOT HOLD A CANDLE TO THESE LEGENDS! And then you have the most awesome spectacle of anything I've seen when Barry takes a drag on a cigarette doing an interview right after a race! I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't also have a pint on-hand!
