Last time i went to southend high street(6 months ago) it was full of immigrants /homeless people and drunks,sign of the times i suppose, shame i grew up there and have fond memories but wouldn't move back now,still has some nice areas nearby tho,raleigh hockley ect.tbf basildon high street is worse.

Don't go there on a bike - I was fined £75 for riding 20 meters into a prohibited zone - no visible signs, never been to Bedford on a bike. Basically £3 a second. Accosted by two jobsworth council enforcement herberts who issued the ticket. After telling then I'm not from the town and never been on a bike - no warning told me to appeal - fat lot of good that did - refused out of hand, Money making scam from a council who dont give a f**k about genuine people who are not louts - in this case a 71 year old pensioner.

I think i was in bedford earlier this month probably not on this exact date but i go now and then to see cex and look around for any good deals
