I had to use a 3mm hook, and now that I have come to the last ring of the brown (where the triple crochets are) the ring is a bit small for my cups. As a beginner I’m wondering if it’s possible for me to increase one more time before I make the triple crochets and what that pattern would look like? Thank you!

When you say make 2 double crochet in the next 2 stitches it’s confusing because you should say make 1 double crochet in the next 2 stitches ? Otherwise people will do 2 double crochet on the next 2 stitches

I wrote down the basket pattern here for all my advanced crocheters. *Working in spirals* R1.MR, 8sc R2.Inc R3.Inc, sc R4.Inc, 2sc R5.Inc, 3sc R6.Inc, 4sc R7.Sc BLO *start sl st & chain 1on every row forward* Sc for 3 rows R11.Alternate between sc & dc R12.Alternate between dc & sc *repeat row 11 & 12, 2 more times for a total of 4 rows* For R15. Mark all these stitchs starting with the 18th st from the hook, then count the 7th from that, then count 18 from that, then 7 from that which should be the last st. Mark them all. R15. alternate between dc & sc for 18 stitchs, then chain 7, sc in next marked st which should be 7st, then Alternate again between sc & dc for 18st, then ch 7 and sc in 7th/last stitch. R16.Sc in all stitchs & chains. Not sure if I worded everything right but hope this helps.

Just made a one with size 8 thread and a 1.25 hook. It’s so delicate and lays flatter in a book and my bookworm friend is going to love it! Obvs needed to chain more than 45 to get the right sized stem for the finer yarn. Will make one tonight for my niece who is obsessed with wild flowers ❤

I moved up hook size from that size to an I size (no idea what the MM size if for the I since this one doesnt have the MM on it) cuz the hook ur using in the video doesnt look like a 3.5 MM...It looks bigger so i moved up several sizes...currently working on it now and its working up perfectly and turning out SO pretty
