Hello🙂. Just wanted to tell u i adapted your pattern a bit: first i make the base of the flower, cut my yarn and complete it. Then i chain the long stem, make the leaves, and sl st up using the back bump to work in. I then knot off leaving the ends long. Then i pull those ends up into the flower base and secure them (adding a shiny bead in the cup of the flower base). Then i make the lovely flower, as you have so kindly taught us. I LOVE your pattern and am making one of your flower-edge coasters to go with the bookmark as a birthday gift along with a book about flowers. I can't wait for the party!!! 😁 Thank you SO MUCH for teaching us and i hope my little suggestion of making the stem and leaves separately is a helpful idea ❤. It made it easier for me and i wasted less yarn since i wasn't guessing at how much length to pull out.

I’m making a mermaid themed bag and wanted some little accent pieces to crochet and sew on to it. I was like, “This is a piece of cake!…..-This is not a piece of cake!” Completed one tho, gonna make a few more:) Great tutorial!

I did it ❤it’s so easy it’s better than using the method of all hdc or sc ! If someone want to try it, I suggest doing with big yarn 🧶 as in the video.

chart: R1: mr 8 sc [8] R2: 8 inc (BLO) [16] R3: 2(2 hdc), 8(2 dc), 9(2 trc) (BLO) ^ remove the stitch marker when you're starting with the 6th trc (if you want to make it bigger, just do 5(2dtrc), still BLO) if you want to change colour the rim of the shell, chain 1, cut the end, sew in ends and follow chart B (if not: follow chart A) chart A: R4: ch 2, 1 reverse sc in all st (FLO) last st: sl st in same st, ch1, cut the end, sew in ends chart B: create a loop with another colour yarn, insert it between the last 2 trc and create a chain (follow this video from 6:58 if you want a visual instruction kzbin.info/www/bejne/infUdaBmrMZgjposi=S-VZgd5mDuLni7v3 but do NOT follow this video any further as it has a different kind of crochet than the current video) R4: 1 reverse sc in all st (FLO) last st: sl st in same st, ch1, cut the end, sew in ends hope this helps!
