@gooniegoogles acredito que você não tenha intendido muito bem esse filme. Esse foi um dos primeiros,se não o primeiro filme brasileiro reconhecido mundialmente. Basicamente, são relatos contados ao Dr. Drauzio Varela pelos detentos. Acredito que esses relatos foram abordados como você disse, na maior parte do filme para mostrar o "lado humano" dos detentos, pois o que a polícia fez com eles, foi tratar como animais sem valor algum.

One thing I've never seen any foreigner notice about Racionais MC's songs (especially the song Nego drama) is the mother figure, in this case in the last verse where Mano brown says "Thanks mom, nego drama". since in Brazil the figure of the mother is something practically sacred, especially among people from lower classes or peripheral areas. Because single mothers tend to do everything possible to make their children follow a good path, in which they can become successful, responsible, honest adults away from a life of crime. the rationals show this in several of their songs in how the maternal figure in question always advises, watches over, cares for, protects and tries to give the best possible for her children even with all the financial difficulties and social problems.
