I took my stock muffler off by removing the upper control arm and coil spring. Put the jack-stands on the frame and let the diff sag on smaller jack stands.

Wish I could get a gen5 G26 with gray, battlefield green, or least FDE frame, want another but want something other than black. Like the Gray, wish I could swap all Mine out for it but don’t feel like losing money selling Glocks and having to buy night sights just for color frame.

you have to upgrade ALL Jeep steering if you put gigger tires on, so how is that a Major Flaw for the TJ's ? Nothing wrong with the wheel base, it is what you do with it. I know people that make the wheel base shorter then stock

@stillhammered306014 күн бұрын
I know this question doesn't directly pertain to the suspension but what brand or model fender liners do you have? When i bought my 97 TJ it had custom high line fenders with the trimmed out hood so they used rubber sheeting for liners and they ripped on me. I've been looking for metal replacements but haven't found many options that look to be large enough but the ones you have seem to be. So thought i would ask. Thanks.

I’d just posted a question on the other TJ-flaws- video and I think I read a comment here about the gauge clusters going on and off. So must be a known issue?
@maketodaypretty150514 күн бұрын
Hi! I have followed your channel for a little while now. I have been wanting a TJ since I first learned about them and am just naturally drawn to their appearance! A 2000 TJ Sahara has come available. the owner and I talked for a while. He gave its know history and repairs. He says the only known current problem is sometimes the dash gauges turn off then back on. “They’ll drop out.” He says he’s had it looked at and they don’t know the source. Sounds like typical electrical glitch to me, as my other 3 newer jeeps, their electric glitches every now and then. Is this a known issue with TJ’s or jeeps in general?
@ScottBrown1406_Repair16 күн бұрын
I understand your #5 but some factory OEM parts that keep a TJ running are being discontinued. Can you say its worth investing more money in a TJ? I want to invest in my LJ but is it money wasted in 5 years? What is your take on this.

@@_everydayoffroad_ you’re welcome for the support, hope you make a million. More wheeling less talk. Your latest walk around of your TJ with your new lift explanation is lack severally. TJ wrangler fcbk group isn’t going to give you all the info you need. But good on you for finally replacing that terrible lift. You talking and giving bad information because of your lack of understanding won’t do you any favors. Just wheel and keep learning.
@alec469916 күн бұрын
@@_everydayoffroad_ on a other note, you’re still too high. Uptravel lowers center of gravity, gains stability, and is more capable. Your factory rear sway is still of a hinderance. Far better than before though. Looks much better.

Nice video! People talk a lot about the 4.0L engine, but the 2.5L is also very very robust and also present quite some fuel efficiency when compared with the 4.0L. For light off-road, mud and sand situations, not crazy rock crawling, or a rig heavily modified the 2.5L inline 4 cylinders is also a great option! I have one 2.5L 1999 running in fantastic condition and on all my situations have done really well! (I am talking from previous experience of Pajero 3.5L V6, Pajero IO 2.0L and others 4x4)

I've done so much of the same on my 82 cj5. Same carb, same fuel pressure regulator. I tore out most of the wiring and swapped in an HEI distributor from summit and it purrs at idle about 650 rpms. I think mine was the same color and everything, but I sprayed it black.

Less than 1” without running into track bar clearance issues. With a modified track bar bracket and aftermarket track bar you can get 1-2” before running into steering issues
