Spin the tape around 180 and apply it the other way. Much easier.

Should wrap it once then twist the tape making it like string and then wrap each thread

Have the same issue on my house now. Had my roof replaced from hail damage late last year, just had a leak appear in my shop area under the living room above and not sure where the leak is as I’ve got a 15 pitch roof which I’m not thrilled about climbing up on but got to find it as it’s in the chimney chase and we can hear water dripping but not showing up in living room but coming thru floor into the shop below. Got to be leaking in my opinion from flashing at some point since no water visible until it starts dripping from floor of living room to shop. Waiting on roofer now who is in Florida right now. Reroofing can be such as pain for everyone involved, small leak which can become big problems if not stopped, 2nd time for similar issues on another house.

A bunch of sealant or calking and your good. Now to fix the mold inside 😂

Its a shame as 10-15 yr ago they were aimed to be premier contractor model they would even titanium coat their utility blades and not advertise is on package...truth is them and milwaukeee and every name brand was bought by xhina and theybare all made in same industrial block factory in commie-command. Theyare their own competition nd their conglomeration made the strategy to produce lower standards in their customers with no other options to hold any risk to their chosen game which is diminshing the class of the customers invincibly

Ive got some dewalt tools and absolutely love them, its a limb trimmer and a chainsaw and they eat right through some thick ass trees and branches and the battery lasts a long time. Maybe ur just running your saw into an angled line and its catching up that blade before it can really spin to cut and keep cutting
