Good video. I am considering a 600ADX. Looking forward to more videos and more of your thoughts on the bike. Is the gear all from Priority?

If god wanted us to view everything in portrait mode he would have given us a single eye in a vertical position. Aargh, who decided to make this a thing? Maybe, the phone makers who were too lazy to fix the portrait-landscape switch came up with this idea.

hey, i really appreciate the video. mine should be showing up this week. and aiming to replace all my other bikes. i live in Ontario, but i go into NY quite often, mostly around lake placid. i would Love do to a group overnight rides with pathfinders as a Canadian guest in the future. Whats a good way to set something like that up?

Enjoyed your initial thoughts on the 600ADX. Any idea what the total weight of your setup was fully loaded, including water? Which frame bag are you using? It seems to the new ADX well. Thanks again for your video.
@keithwaltersphotography28 күн бұрын
Hey there! I didn't get a precise weight, but if I had to ponder a guess with all the gear and three liters of water it was likely around 65-70 lbs including the bike. The frame bag is off Amazon, size medium: a.co/d/01VBaa7b Bike frame is a size medium as well. Axiom rear rack with ortlieb panniers. Hope this helps!
@bruceglisson172025 күн бұрын
@@keithwaltersphotographydo you recall which axiom rack, there are several on Amazon
Curious if they’d let me pitch a tent on that trail? Or next to the lean-to? Thank you for this informative and entertaining video.

Hey Keith, Great video! I really like your style. Good shots, good pacing, nicely edited, and of course the drone shots add that wonderful perspective. I'm planning on hiking that section of trail this spring, so I'm glad I came across your informative video. A couple of questions...I read somewhere that you are not allowed to set up tents at the lean-to areas. Do you know if that is correct? Doesn't seem right to me. If so, are you allowed to set up camp elsewhere along that trail? ...and, are you aware of any shuttle services to get me back to my car at the trail head? I have now subscribed to your channel and look forward to more great videos from you. If you don't mind, please check out my outdoor channel, although it's mostly wilderness canoeing, I also have several backpacking treks that you might be interested in. Cheers -Wayne

I'm in upstate NY, about 6 hours away... I just learned of Eternal Flame Falls. Is there an actual address for the trailhead I could put in my GPS? I'd love to visit this coming year. I practice primitive living skills, and think it would be an awesome feeling to make a small hand drill fire and relight the flame, if it should happen to be out at the time.

Keith Walters Photography LSP is a wonderful park. I had the privilege to see spring, summer and fall from the river as a raft guide. I started to take it for granted. Then went a couple of weeks ago to see it frozen and was amazed. BTW, we often see the eagles just south of Wolf’s Creek.

Hey there! The middle section of the park is blocked off to vehicle traffic, but you can walk through. The road leading down to lower falls is closed, as is the trail leading down to the footbridge. You can access Inspiration Point, the Humphrey Nature Center, Trout Pond (system of trails behind that pond 2, 2A, 3) Middle Falls, the Glenn Iris Inn (although it is closed right now) and Upper Falls by entering through the Castile entrance. There's still plenty to see in the winter!
