Psycho. Similar to crazy Jim Niedhart, shotputter and pro wrestler. They get the only the best drugs in "Svieden". One can only wonder how many training injuries this maniac had, and how many surgical scars he had by the time he hung it up.

When jouko ahola deadlifts is it his back straining or the velcro unfastening, I can't tell
@TwoBlackMarks4 жыл бұрын
When Jouko deadlift, it is only the weights that is chattering, from being awe-struck of his back power. The sound when he just picks it up? It is probably from the belt I would guess.

What is the weight of the barbell for biceps?
@TwoBlackMarks5 жыл бұрын
At 1:52? The power curl? It looks like 120 or 130kg, since the middle plates look wider than the yellow 15s. I do not remember 100%, but I think he sometimes went up to around 160kg.

Biceps 💪 barbell kg ?
@TwoBlackMarks5 жыл бұрын
In the beginning? When he throws the weight on the bench? It looks to be 120kg, but it could be 100 to 120kg+. The yellow ones are 15kg, the black or possible blue inbetween the yellows look like 20`s by the width looking wider than the Yellow. So 50kg on each side + the bar at 20kg equals 120kg. The black ones can be old 50kg weights, but I do not think so. Old Eleiko training weights did not always have color coding, I do not know why, because it looks like the black is always painted over the color coding.. So the color coding always comes through after some use, like you see on the yellows... Ricky power curled or "Bruch curled" around 160kg in training I think, I do not remember the exact amount right now. I may mix with someone else, it is a good power exercise.

Where was Brian Shaw?
@TwoBlackMarks5 жыл бұрын
And where was Gary Taylor, Bill Kazmaier, Vasyl Virastyuk, Jamie Reeves, Janne Virtanen, Ted van der Parre and Phil Pfister? To just take former WSM winners as examples. That`s just how it was, at the time of making the clip, Shaw was officially 2 times WSM, and he actually is in this clip, pretty short moment though. He also had many tribute movies made about only him, so it is nice with a few not so familiar faces too, and there are several Strongmen that have been kind of overlooked, overshadowed and forgotten. And I tried to diversify some, but also keep it to what was the future at the time. If I made it again, I would try to include many others, but as you can see, I am not an pro, I only have Windows Movie Maker and a not so powerful computer, so it can be challenging to make what I want to make, compared to what I have the ability to do. So it gets very time consuming and hard to include many clips from several different long movies into one short movie. Also, a too long movie could be "too long" to watch too, which could happen easily if you include too much, just as what I am writing here is too long for many people to sit through and read.

'when you had to "Drive" the cars, not just steer it..' amen Nice sounds indeed. What was the car in the first clip? Monza perhaps?
@TwoBlackMarks6 жыл бұрын
Exactly! Yes, it is a Cevrolet Monza. Somewhat succesful racecars, I think they maybe had the most succes in Australia though. Since the Turbo Porsches sweeped up most competition when they started going fast..
