But as you noticed Cortana was on reach and to be delivered to the pillar of autumn to The Masterchief. So what is happening? The cortana that chief meets and the cortana on reach are the same AI but just split in half. So in Halo 1 they are joined together and its all still the same Cortana. It seems too that the origin of Cortana is confusing to you as well ill clear that up. Cortana is a smart AI made from a clone of Dr.Halsey (they made a clone and killed it to harvest for the AI creation yucky). Also the forerunner stuff on reach you mentioned at some point heres what was happening. As you know Cortana isn't of forerunner creation she is human creation(and by a lot of measures human herself). Dr Halsey and 1 half of Cortana were scanning the Forerunner artifacts under Reach she knew the war wasnt going well and was coming to a close. She wanted to gleam anything from the forerunners to turn the tide. I guess since im on a rant i can maybe explain some other stuff. The infinity as you know is a crazy ship but was overrun from the intro cinematic so how does that happen? well the infinity was really understaffed at this point and already in a bad position because of Halo 5 and cortana. So being in close proximity to the banished( I think they ambushed the infinity?) it was tactically good but they got pretty lucky she wasn't fully staffed 7000 people during infinite vs its 18000 peak staff load. And to finish off Halo infinite plays out is narrative over the whole game so you slowly piece together what happened in the 6 months chief was out so don't be super confused when they talk about some event that happened it will probably be explained.

The banished with Cortana conquered most of the UNSC. Weapon was sent to return Cortana to the infinity, but… Chief was defeated by Atriox, and left to float in space forever. The goal of the game is to defeat the banished, find out what happened with Cortana, and learn about the Weapon. When you start on the open world, the best way to have better weapons, vehicles, soldiers, and additional upgrades is to find all Spartan cores, free captured soldiers, capture FOBs (forward operating bases), destroy propaganda towers, and defeat various banished fighters. There is no fall damage unless you fall off the map. Grappling is faster than falling and sprinting. When you can grapple to something, the sight changes color. Use your scan button often to find weapons, action items, logs, hints to open doors, etc. For fewer deaths, prioritize upgrading shields first. If you grapple then melee, it will kill most grunts and other low end enemies. The shock grenades freezes the enemy and drains shields and health nicely. The enemy is an easy target for a few seconds.

In someone else's playthrough, both he and banks were trying to run inside the other building but this time, the pole was flying and spinning like cazy and smacked only banks and the player/Master Cheif watched the poor bas#ard's body zoom high into the building then flop back down on the floor.

There's an analogy that, whilst not quite true, does work to an extent which is that the Spartan II's (Masterchief) are like the Greek Titans, the III's (Noble 6) are like the Olympian Gods, and the IV's (Palmer) are like demigods.

Atriox is like the closest thing to Thel Vaademee/Arbitor but for the Brutes or Jiralhanea. You could say that he's all about hating the government but respecting the military back when he was apart of it until the silencing.

In halo 3 after after the chife and cortana tried to leave the ark obviously the Arbiter made it back to Earth but after the ring was fired the flood was destroyed and the Ark was significantly damaged but in a few years it's likely that it was repaired in the amount of time it had between halo 3 and halo wars 2 the portal I'm not sure of if the humans could open and close the portal to the Ark but the banished definitely found a way to close it so its possible the humans new how to use it to also Isenel nowing about the Forruners and info about them and everything else that info was most likely to be kept away from here by ONI the only ai that new a significant info about the Forruners that was built by the humans was Cortana because she was the one who found out about most of the stuff we now about the Forruners

Some added content that even the terminals didn't show: The Didact was actually twisted by the Flood into having a more aggressive view of the Mantle, and increased his hatred of humanity, so as to generate further conflict amongst the Forerunner government and make them easier to conquer. At least PARTLY why he started off more on the side of DEFENDING humanity in the first terminal, but had a MASSIVE viewpoint change of them(/us) later on.

I'm a huge halo fan lol so before infinite there's one thing I'd recommend to you especially since you were talking about watching movies.. halo the fall of reach is an animated movie that's actually free on KZbin. It shows the spartan program and all of them as kids... it's pretty cool. Halo wars 1 and 2 I'd say just watch the cutscenes the game itself is that over the top board game style I forgot what they call it hahaha but either way the cutscenes fill you in well halo wars 2 takes place during 5. Awesome lead up to infinite.

Zombies videos are great, I wouldn’t cut it up. The raw experience is really refreshing as nobody else kinda does that and it’s hard to get a genuine reaction to a new zombie map in 2024

1. I don't really care about Halo. I like the more raw gameplay side of your zombies videos, although cutting it up a bit might make it more accessable to people outside the channel, not too sure on that, and the Paper Mario stuff have been great; you are definitely getting close to end. 2. The 2nd channel is interesting as I also haven't watched most tv and movies other than some cartoons, but it seems like it will increase your workload alot as you have to deal with KZbin's bullcrap copywright system and having to cut parts that you assume aren't interesting enough for the viewer to watch, but I'm not a content creator so I don't know how it's like. 3. Halo is a series that I'm willing to play for myself for the future so I don't really have thoughts for this. 4. I like the idea for the third slot to be something alot more different than what you usually play, like paper mario, or just a different vibe in general, like the mario games compared to the cod and halo stuff. quick suggestion for this slot: maybe the first Mario + Rabbids game(I'm not sure how long it is) 5. I liked the video essay even though I treated it more like background noise; I wouldn't mind seeing more videos like that, maybe you'll split the channel in two when the video essays start getting big numbers 6. I always thought about you playing some of the Bethesda Games (just fallout lol). Playing Fallout 3 or New Vegas with all the dlc is the most popular and probably the most preferred way getting into the fallout universe, they do get VERY long though if you're not honing in on the main quests at all times, plus both have very clunky fps combat but I had a great time throughout all of it. Bonus: Are you interested in "playing" visual novels on the channel? Because there are some visual novels that I want to see you react to, that will make you dumbfounded on some of the bizarre events that even happen at all in those games(cough cough Danganronpa and Zero Escape cough cough).

In general, unsc weapons work best on the flood, covenant weapons work best of covenant, promethean weapons work best on promethians. Weapons choices allow some flexibility, but the point is to provide the most and better weapons for the mission you are on. If you don’t like it, use easy mode, or use the infinite ammo skull.

Master Chief isn’t the only spartan living. He is a spartan II like Jorge. The later Spartans are III. They have less modifications, more like an enhanced ODST. I’m not sure you are listening to the voice overs and squad speak. Most of your questions are answered in the game.

They kinda did some stuff in Seasons 1 & 3 of MWIII Warzone, but they didn’t really continue this story much at all. They pretty much just boil down to “Nolan escaped & Makarov’s doing some more shit involving Rebirth Island or whatever”. The rest of the MWIII Warzone cutscenes were just selling the Battle Passes & bundles. But yeah, it’s mostly the campaign & Zombies that garnered hate for MWIII. The MP got some at first, but I feel like it’s become loved bc of the post-launch support Sledgehammer gave the MP. So we’re pretty much just waiting for MWIV to see where this story is going, if there is any semblance of a plan… Some have speculated that they essentially took a bunch of missions intended for COD 2026 & dumped them into MWIII to justify the full price. I don’t believe that, but I don’t blame people for doing so. And yeah, I agree that Soap’s death here was poorly handled. It should’ve been Gaz who died in this campaign instead of Soap. At least he had a great arc in MW19 to get us invested in him…
