Was replacing the flint on my clipper lighter and lost hold of it just a couple weeks ago. The spring launched that piece of flint straight into my eyeball, and I was nearly certain i went blind because it went dark for a second. Luckily, the contacts i was wearing must've protected my eye from the projectile, but having that sucker glued to the end of the spring couldve saved me from having a heart attack from the panic. 😂

Make your own job. Start a catering biz! I have a friend who bought a truck like a UPS truck. He built a small kitchen in it, got the right permits and now does cooperate events, food truck shows and and such but he doesn't have a boss and does ok for himself! He set up his girlfriend and her daughters up in a cupcake/baking business. YOU CAN DO IT! Think outside the box!

I’ve got a ladies cane chair mahogany that I plan on restoring - sanding , restraining and varnishing plus new cane weaving seat. The top part has a crack that I guess I’ll have to glue the original dowel is there but I can’t replace the the whole piece . Hoping it turns out as nice as yours ! This is my first restoration project!

really, try to get a grip. cast iron is forgiving given half a chance, and besides a wok, the best way to cook.

Butter your bread with room temperature butter instead of putting butter directly in the pan. The butter flavor transfers to the bread better. Cooking it on a lower temperature gives a better toast as well. I've found better luck with a stainless steel pan as opposed to cast iron.
